Description: Since 1956, we have captivated people with our warmth and magical aura. The Mai-Kai authentically recreates a Polynesian Village, complete with tiki torches, a thatch roof, tropical gardens, waterfalls and museum quality artifacts. The exciting Islander Revue is performed nightly by native Polynesian dancers in colorful hand sewn costumes. The Hawaiian wedding dance will seduce you, and the Samoan Fire and Knife dance will leave you speechless. The Revue is a favorite of all ages. The award winning cuisine includes American and Cantonese dishes, many prepared in our Chinese Ovens, and each dining room reflects a different Island of Polynesia. The Molokai Bar is a South Seas saloon with over 51 tropical drinks and live music nightly. "Home of the Mystery Drink" served by our sarong-clad maiden, with an orchid lei. Try our House Specialties - Mai-Tai and Barrel o'Rum. Happy Hour nightly 5 - 7 pm. Our Mai-Kai trading post and gift shop will give you a chance to bring home your favorite memories of the Mai-Kai. From Hawaiian shirts and hats to Polynesian Jewelry, everyone is sure to find something to bring home

entertainment - great food - and lots of it - music, and places to walk around to see waterfalls etc. - ambiance has not changed in many years - even the bathrooms are original - this is is must to go to when in Ft.Lauderdale

One of the last standing and original Tiki bar-supper clubs in the country, the Mai Kai is a wonderful landmark to visit and a throwback to the Polynesian-Mad Men cocktail era. The best rum drinks on the planet here are expensive and worth every cent, as you'll be spoiled forever. Dark and mysterious inside and tropical walking paths outside -... More

I absolutely love this place. The service is great, the show with the dancers and the storytelling is amazing, very entertaining. I always order noodles with scallops and shrimps and never disappoint. This place is perfect not only for that special romantic date, but also to celebrate birthday with a punch of friends.

We began our week long vacation traveling all over Florida with the Mai Kai ! What a fun start to an amazing vacation. We ordered quite a bit of appetizers and spread them out on our table family style so we could all share and sample. Wonderful! The show was spectacular, my kids were cheering and smiling the whole time... More

The ambiance is very nice in this restaurant but it is way too expensive to come here on a regular basis... $100 dollars on a dinner experience for a couple is way too much. The food selection is creative and so are the drinks. The show is beautiful but it was cheaper to have a dinner like this in Hawaii... More

It was a awesome show, great seats, amazing tours, great food, and great prices! I go here with my family sometimes and the employees even park your cars for you, how nice is that? The show had employees even licking fire on sticks! You can come here for your birthday or wedding or anything and go on stage and dance!

We had looked forward to visiting Mai Kai for months, and decided to go for our daughter's birthday. It turned out to be a big letdown. First, we were seated at the back of the restuarant, when there clearly were tables closer. Although the dim lights were great for ambiance, it made it difficult to read the menu, and we... More

I really enjoyed the food and the show was great. I had the prime rib and it was the best I've ever had. The food was great. The show was as well. My only critical aspect of the event was our seating. We made a reservation three months in advance. When we got there we were seated in a back... More

We visited the Mai Kai for a dinner- show experience while on vacation in Fort Lauderdale. The atmosphere is tropical and very pretty. Reservations are a must. If you want a good seat for the show I suggest you arrive early. Dinner reservations are at 6 or 6:30 for the 8 pm show. Closer tables are filled first. The show... More

Everything at the Mai Kai is amazing; the food, the drinks and the performances! However good the drinks were, I didn't find them to be very consistent. For example, I ordered 2 Mai Tais (one right after another), and the second was WAY sweeter than than the first. Some friends experience the same inconsistency with the Yeoman's Grog. Don't get...
