Since 1956, we have captivated people with our warmth and magical aura. The Mai-Kai authentically recreates a Polynesian Village, complete with tiki torches, a thatch roof, tropical gardens, waterfalls and museum quality artifacts. The exciting Islander Revue is performed nightly by native Polynesian dancers in colorful hand sewn costumes. The Hawaiian wedding dance will seduce you, and the Samoan Fire and Knife dance will leave you speechless. The Revue is a favorite of all ages. The award winning cuisine includes American and Cantonese dishes, many prepared in our Chinese Ovens, and each dining room reflects a different Island of Polynesia. The Molokai Bar is a South Seas saloon with over 51 tropical drinks and live music nightly. "Home of the Mystery Drink" served by our sarong-clad maiden, with an orchid lei. Try our House Specialties - Mai-Tai and Barrel o'Rum. Happy Hour nightly 5 - 7 pm. Our Mai-Kai trading post and gift shop will give you a chance to bring home your favorite memories of the Mai-Kai. From Hawaiian shirts and hats to Polynesian Jewelry, everyone is sure to find something to bring home

Molokai Lounge Happy Hour Can't be Beat!

We celebrated several "Leo" birthdays with a Wednesday "happy hour" gathering in the Mai Kai Molokai lounge. We were a large group - over 35 - and they management set aside the upper corner of Molokai for the occasion. Their famous island drinks were beautiful as well as delicious, and the hors... read more

We had a wonderful time! If you have read other reviews, I will confirm that it is dark and it got a little warm. Our food was great. We had ribs, filet and the pork loin, flaming coffee and dessert. The cocktails are strong and we shared a good bottle of wine. We loved the show. I am not sure... More

We love the cocktail louge and go there for happy hour and will continue to go there for drinks and pupus. However, the dinner and show were very disappointing. The food was so bad we didn't even want a doggie bag for the left overs and there was lots of food we didn't eat. The show was OK but the... More

I had the feeling of being in a tourist trap the entire time. Self parking $5, valet parking free?? There is ample parking and it should ALL be free. The dinner menu is expensive and the show is a separate fee, but I knew that in advance from reading reviews. The happy hour specials along with the free buffet offered... More

Went to this place for a ending vacation dinner with young kids. Loved it. The staff was awesome, the food was great, and the drinks pricey but worth it. Actually everything was pricey but the experience was worth it. Performers were also very good. The grounds of the restaurant were nice as well. Great for pictures. Only thing I would... More

The show was awesome though it was a little hard to hear the announcer as she told the story of the heritage. The food was good they try to fill to max capacity so we were packed in pretty tight.

I went with some trepidation but my expectations were exceeded in all aspects. The place is great looking - a 1950's/60's time piece, very well done. The food was really good. Ribs were meaty, without any fat. Very fresh well sized shrimp (not frozen) with a delicious Thai curry sauce. Pork fried rice was good. Drinks were exactly as listed... More

Had an 8:30 dinner reservation and when we got there they were telling everyone who had an 8:30 reservation that they had to wait to be seated because the tables were not ready and to go to the bar to get a drink and check back.
