Since 1956, we have captivated people with our warmth and magical aura. The Mai-Kai authentically recreates a Polynesian Village, complete with tiki torches, a thatch roof, tropical gardens, waterfalls and museum quality artifacts. The exciting Islander Revue is performed nightly by native Polynesian dancers in colorful hand sewn costumes. The Hawaiian wedding dance will seduce you, and the Samoan Fire and Knife dance will leave you speechless. The Revue is a favorite of all ages. The award winning cuisine includes American and Cantonese dishes, many prepared in our Chinese Ovens, and each dining room reflects a different Island of Polynesia. The Molokai Bar is a South Seas saloon with over 51 tropical drinks and live music nightly. "Home of the Mystery Drink" served by our sarong-clad maiden, with an orchid lei. Try our House Specialties - Mai-Tai and Barrel o'Rum. Happy Hour nightly 5 - 7 pm. Our Mai-Kai trading post and gift shop will give you a chance to bring home your favorite memories of the Mai-Kai. From Hawaiian shirts and hats to Polynesian Jewelry, everyone is sure to find something to bring home

Old Florida kitch worth a visit

after years of passing this place by on our visits to FTL, finally made reservations. Drinks were pricey. Meal was just as good as PF Changs. Server was friendly. Great Hawaiian show after dinner. Hula girls, boys juggling fire. Was a great time. Moderately priced food, show was 14.00. If you want... read more

I was sitting enjoying my tropical drinks that was pretty good. All of a sudden it started to smell like someone urinated and it hasn't been cleaned up for months. I thought it was coming from the restroom and my wife thought it was our 1 1/2 year old son who needs a diaper change. As my wife went to... More

It was my husband's 30th Birthday and I had his mother, his sister and her boyfriend flying in to surprise him. I wanted to pick a fun, interesting restaurant (after all we were bidding adieu to my husband's 20's, making him an official 'oldie') Reservation was at 9pm, arrived at 8.55pm. We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated... More

This place was good. I got free tickets thru my hotel. I was told to get there by 6:00, which I did. You get dinner and a show. They setted me at 6:00. I had to tell the waitress to slow the food down if I hadn't I would have been finshed by 7:45. The show started at 9:00. Had... More

We go at least twice a year to the Molokai Bar inside of the Mai-Kai. They host a great happy hour with half price drinks and appetizers. The food is always tasty. The drinks are always potent. Ask the servers about the off menu items. Trust us. ;-)

Food is excellent but overpriced for the portions. Drinks: stay in the strong section and prepare to spend some $$$. Venue: felt like Disney decorated it! It was awesome. Staff was friendly and as prompt as could be. Show: a lot of fun! Summary: great place to go as a group if you have the $$$.

The restaurant was very hot and close. For all the people in the restaurant the AC was just not cooling. Everyone was drinking so much ice water the waiters could not keep up. The hot temp distracted from what could have been a more enjoyable experience. When we left a patron was having words with management about the hot temperature.... More
