Since 1956, we have captivated people with our warmth and magical aura. The Mai-Kai authentically recreates a Polynesian Village, complete with tiki torches, a thatch roof, tropical gardens, waterfalls and museum quality artifacts. The exciting Islander Revue is performed nightly by native Polynesian dancers in colorful hand sewn costumes. The Hawaiian wedding dance will seduce you, and the Samoan Fire and Knife dance will leave you speechless. The Revue is a favorite of all ages.
The award winning cuisine includes American and Cantonese dishes, many prepared in our Chinese Ovens, and each dining room reflects a different Island of Polynesia.
The Molokai Bar is a South Seas saloon with over 51 tropical drinks and live music nightly. "Home of the Mystery Drink" served by our sarong-clad maiden, with an orchid lei. Try our House Specialties - Mai-Tai and Barrel o'Rum. Happy Hour nightly 5 - 7 pm.
Our Mai-Kai trading post and gift shop will give you a chance to bring home your favorite memories of the Mai-Kai. From Hawaiian shirts and hats to Polynesian Jewelry, everyone is sure to find something to bring home

An experience to remember

This restaurant did not disappoint with the show or the food. The location was almost like a movie set with interesting rooms, gardens and waterfalls. Our waiters recommendations were good and the kids enjoyed their pineapple drinks.

My girlfriend had been recommended this restaurant and decided to hold her birthday dinner there, yesterday January 21st, 2016. GOOD: -The show was awesome! The dancers were energetic and interacted with the crowd. Lovely costumes, great fire show and tons of energy. - The garden was beautiful with waterfalls and Polynesian décor. Great backdrop for gorgeous pictures. - Our waitress... More

While in town for a few days before our cruise, my daughter found this place and thought it was fun for dinner. Turned out to be a waste of our time and money. Allow me to explain our evening to you. Went as follows: Arrived to a lineup of cars waiting to get in, they have a VALET SERVICE. $3... More

Thank you for visiting the Mai-Kai and sharing your thoughts. The parking area is controlled by an outside concession. We do try to inform each guest of the $3.00 parking fee when a reservation is made. This charge is also listed on our website. I apologize that this was not made clear before your arrival. I am glad to hear... More

First of all, I will say that it is worth going to the this restaurant for the show. It was quite entertaining. Better than expected, but the food was overpriced for what you get. I ordered szechuan chicken for my entree and it was way too sweet. Had key lime pie for dessert and it was disgusting....not tart at all.... More

We had another fun night at the Mai-Kai last night. With friends in from England, we thought they would enjoy this kitschy American event. Although we requested a table by the stage which we did NOT get, we still had a great view of the show and they loved every minute of it. I HIGHLY recommend going early for Happy... More

I have been to Mai Kai a few times and every experience has been better then the last! My daughter couldn't wait to celebrate her 21st birthday at Mai Kai and the staff made her night spectacular! My friends and I gather at a friend's vacation house in Fort Lauderdale from time to time. We always visit the Mai-Kai (lounge) for happy hour at least once per visit. It never disappoints. Is it kitschy and over-priced? Yes! Does that bother me? No. It's just one of those places that you have to go...and if you like it,... More

Bought this as part of a Miami package. It was just overall meh... Pros: Great drink list, good entertainment if you get a good seat Cons: got terrible indigestion from the food and missed most of the show being in the bathroom. Our seats did not have a direct view of the show, so we missed a lot of the... More
