Description: Since 1956, we have captivated people with our warmth and magical aura. The Mai-Kai authentically recreates a Polynesian Village, complete with tiki torches, a thatch roof, tropical gardens, waterfalls and museum quality artifacts. The exciting Islander Revue is performed nightly by native Polynesian dancers in colorful hand sewn costumes. The Hawaiian wedding dance will seduce you, and the Samoan Fire and Knife dance will leave you speechless. The Revue is a favorite of all ages. The award winning cuisine includes American and Cantonese dishes, many prepared in our Chinese Ovens, and each dining room reflects a different Island of Polynesia. The Molokai Bar is a South Seas saloon with over 51 tropical drinks and live music nightly. "Home of the Mystery Drink" served by our sarong-clad maiden, with an orchid lei. Try our House Specialties - Mai-Tai and Barrel o'Rum. Happy Hour nightly 5 - 7 pm. Our Mai-Kai trading post and gift shop will give you a chance to bring home your favorite memories of the Mai-Kai. From Hawaiian shirts and hats to Polynesian Jewelry, everyone is sure to find something to bring home

The place rates 2 stars only because the food is tasty even if quite expensive for what you get. Also the waiter was quite good. Tables and chairs are packed in very tight. Couldn't read the menu with out pulling out the flashlight from my phone. When you make your reservations be sure to book in the lower section. We... More

Mai Kai was a great experience. Whether your on a date, family or with a group of friends...You will not be disappointed. However,it is not cheap! Please be prepared to pay and be amazed & entertained. The decor immaculate! The dancers and eating fire man was awesome! When your there you must get your drink in a pineapple or coconut.... More

The place is GORGEOUS... Please do not forget to visit their garden before you live. Evenn better; if you get there on time and you already saw the show in a previous visit, please sit at the little tables out in the garden. Excellent ambiance! Couldn't asked for a better replica (considering the limitations) for a luau. Food is really... More

I was happy to say that I was happy to have gone to the Mai Kai, after all these years. I have wanted to visit for years, but finally did. Mind you, the negative part of this experience is the meal - portions are not generous. OK, I can afford the low calorie counts. I must say, I tried a... More

Went there for dinner, nice place very well decorated but was very dimly lit could not see much around you. I like to see what i am eating. It is slightly expensive. The food was ok i had higher expectations after looking at the prices. Food was not very flavorful, didn't had any salt or any spices. But that could... More

I read many reviews and was told not to go but since this was a bachelorette dinner I decided to go with the flow regardless. I was pleasantly surprised! The drinks were average in price ($12 absolute martini) and I ordered the special which was bass in vanilla buerre blanc and it was delicious, the fish was succulent and properly... More

I had read about Mai Kai in several Tiki articles and now understand why it is rated #1. You're treated at the door by the matre'd and a row of attendants wearing white jackets, white pants, white shoes...you get the picture. We came for dinner so we were escorted to the back. They have several dining areas, all surrounded by... More

I have been wanting to go to Mai Kai for several years, but was disappointed. The food was average, the drinks ridiculously expensive, and atmosphere very dark--everyone reading their menus with cellphone lights! The show was well done, and entertaining! I enjoyed the fire dancers the most!
