Every time we eat here it is wonderful...great food, great service and the prickly pear margarita is so good!! We love the calamari, short rib appetizer, lobster salad and so much for. The desserts are fabulous too!! Highly recommend!

Small place, packed. 40 min wait, but the Martinis made it worth it. the tuna tartare and salmon tostadas were sublime. The special of the day was a duck which was just perfect. You cannot miss the rigatoni with beef and mushrooms, just an experience. Please go there and enjoy.

I am a foodie, and at the very least every weekend I eat out. This is by far my favorite restaurant in SF.

What a wonderful restaurant. Every time I am in Fort Lauderdale I make it sure thing to go to Canyon. The prickly pear margaritas are the BEST! and all the food it to perfection. The only thing is that last time I try to go eat there they could not seat us until 10h00 which is when they close the... More

Everything about our evening at Canyon was superb, from the cactus pear martinis (two each!) to the white chocolate bread pudding (one to share). We had heard that Canyon was “pricey,” but while it wasn’t cheap, we have had pricier meals that didn’t come close to our experience here. The menu invites exploration with its unusual small plates. We tried... More

Canyon was recommended to us by a few people when we first moved to Fort Lauderdale. Being from NYC, we love trying lots of new restaurants and consider ourselves amateur "foodies" Unfortunately it took us a year to try Canyon. Thankfully we finally did but it took way too long! We can't wait to go back. We started with the... More

From the very first Prickley Pear Margarita to the delectable chocolate mousse and bread pudding desserts the food at Canyon was outstanding. The menu is interesting, delicious, and tasty. A great dinner and wonderful atmosphere.

Canyon is by far the best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale and our favorite place to dine. The food is outstanding. Our favorite thing to do is order a series of appetizers. Some of our favorites are the venison, jumbo Sea Scallops with plantain hash, blue corn fried oysters!!! Canyon has the best Lobster bisque in town!! Goes without saying their... More

We ate at Canyon Southwest Cafe on a Friday night around 8:30, which we should have known would be kind of a mess. The 25-minute expected wait time turned into an hour wait, and the food took another hour to cook. So I would recommend trying them on a less busy night. We had the prickly pear margaritas at the... Have had on our must-visit list for some time but had been put off by the "no reservations" policy. So, we tried on the late side on a Monday evening off-season and were able to walk right in and be shown to a nice table, though the air-con meant one of us felt in need of a wrap. Everything about... More
