Save room for the bread pudding!

Every time I come here I start with a prickly pear margarita and end with the white chocolate bread pudding. Everything in between is delicious as well!

The tenderloin tacos, formerly spare rib tacos, quesadillas, goat cheese and beet salad, macaroni and cheese...the list goes on. For dessert, the most delectable bread pudding and perfect creme brûlée. Don't forget their selection of tequilas and their superstar, the best Prickly Pear Margarita in town! Mario, the owner, is always there to ensure the quality of your visit and... More

Back to its very tip-top best. We snagged a table right away and set about the pleasurable task of deciding which combinations of small plates might be shared by the table. Round 1 saw 4 small plates all of which were superb. Round 2 produced another 4 small plates - again superb. Round 3 saw 2 of the party drop... More

Everything was such wonderfully prepared and delicious!!! Obviously had the prickly pear martinis, and we split two small plates and an entree. Each one was to die for. A simple mixed salad will never be the same again. We also had the Brie and mushroom quesadilla and the rigatoni with shrimp. Omg amazing!! We were surprised with a bread pudding... More

Went on a Tuesday eve so table for two was available. John our server was professional and very good but too much in prime time mode as if they needed to turn our table which being a relatively quiet night did not seem the case. Small plate of poblano? Pepper was tasty. My wife's filet was among best she ever... More

We had heard from a number of friends that Canyon was fabulous. I'd say it was mostly fabulous. The menu is short, which I prefer because I'd rather have them do fewer things really well. I think it's the sign of a good restaurant that they know who they are and only do what they know. Having said that, this... More

The food is amazingly good, but the portions are ridiculously small. I left with the same hunger that I began my meal with.

First, get there early. We were there just before 6 pm and the place was already packed. We waited about 45 minutes with a round of excellent prickly pear margaritas. Once we were seated, service was fairly attentive, but a bit frantic. Still, no one rushed us, which was wonderful because we were catching up with old friends. Food was... More
