Great food, just a little noisy.

The food was excellent as well as the intimate corner booth. Our server Chris was also excellent. The only negative was the noise, although there was a very loud lively group that contributed to most of the noise. I would recommend this restaurant!

Great atmosphere but bar is very small and there is almost always a wait for a table. They do a fairly decent job getting you seated and the prickly pear margaritas are a highlight while waiting. All the menu items we have tried have been delicious - steak burrito, scallops, mac & cheese were notable highlights. Can't wait to go... More

Consistently awesome SW nouvelle. A delight to be there. Our first love of Ft Lauderdale. And our current love. Need to get there early as no reservations. And small. Took my cousins from the originators of the cable food network news. Who just adored everything. Especially the smoke salmon tostado. Which I have tried to replicate with no success such... More

Love this place...get their early because there are no reservations and everyone insists on waiting inside while scoffing down a Prickly Pear Margarita. We do nothing but tons of appetizers...each one better than the next! But leave room for dessert...the bread pudding will knock your socks off. Nice people too.

My wife and I came at Happy Hour. We took seats at the bar and split an appetizer, the chicken quesadilla. It was very good. And at half price, it was a good deal. Then we shared a desert, the white chocolate bread pudding. It was delicious and so decadent. It was pricey but worth it. My wife had a... More

I am not a big Margarita fan but for my birthday my wonderful Manfriend brought me here to celebrate and the Prickly Pear Margaritas are the most delicious thing I have ever had (its their specialty drink). It is a little hidden but such a hideaway. The dim lighting make for a very romantic spot. ***IF you do visit try... More

I live in West Palm Beach, which is about 40 minutes away, and will happily drive to Ft. Lauderdale just to go to Canyon. Their food is unique and is absolutely delicious. Our first time going, the waiter was extremely patient by going through the menu with us and offering suggestions. He even had a special meal, not usually on... More

As a native and someone who has lived here for over 50 years, Canyon is still my #1 restaurant. Mario, the owner, is generally always present, and makes sure the food, drink and service is always perfect. My favorite is the is the salmon tostado as an appetizer and the beef burrito as my main. But everything on the menu... More
