I have been going to Ft. Lauderdale every year for the past 5 years. On my first trip I was directed by a friend to try Canyon. It was an amazing meal then and it was again this past week. From the Prickly Pear to the White Chocolate bread pudding it was a meal fit for a king. Reasonably priced... More

I heard of this place from a local and it was way more than I expected. Small place but the service and food unity rivals that of the best cities in the United States. I just hope they keep it going. I have not been impressed with a dinning experience in Fort Lauderdale like this. One hundred percent recommended.

We came for dessert, specifically the white chocolate bread pudding. But first my wife and I split a chicken quesadilla. It was delicious. Then for the pudding. We attacked it from two sides, subjecting it to a withering volley of fork thrusts. Caught in such a crossfire, this pudding, with its blackberries and blueberries, didn't stand a chance. It was... Being in the restaurant industry, I find there are very few excellent restaurants in the Fort Lauderdale area. Either they are too touristy, overpriced for the quality or don't have stellar food - except Canyon. This intimate little spot is an excellent gem in the city with cuisine unlike anywhere nearby. It is small so you may have to wait... More

I have been going to canyon for about 4 years now. It was my bf's first date spot and continues to be. I love the atmosphere here and the quaintness of it. The food is out of this world very fresh and delicious! Definitely a GO TO spot! Thumbs up!!!

Canyon is a very popular Lauderdale restaurant. Combined with the fact that it is rather small almost insures that you will have to wait to be seated. I choose the tuna tartare and roasted swordfish entree. Both were excellent. Prices are a tad on the high end for comparable restaurants in the area, but, all in all, worth a visit.

Delicious food, cool atmosphere, really loud in there, but gave us a free dessert to compensate for seating us next to the loudest party in the state of Florida. All in all, we left full and pretty happy!

I live in Toronto Canada where we have plenty of great places to eat and whenever my wife and I travel we always look to eat at the latest and greatest dinner hot spots. We don’t come to Florida often, but when we do its always Miami. We love the vibe, food and culture. However, over the past Christmas holidays... More

This restaurant is perfection in ever area; food, service and atmosphere. Even if you are not a fan of South Western food there a lots of other items. I have ordered most of the items on the menu and they were exceptional. I asked the server if the short ribs were fatty. He explained how they prepared so the fat... More
