One of the best places I have ever eaten!

Canyon takes food to a whole new level! Not to mention the amazing, like no other Prickly Pear Margarita!!!! Wow!! Delicious & cool place to eat. Not much of a desert person, but the white chocolate bread pudding with berry coulee!!! Unbelievable! I will forever long for the prickly pear and the... read more

Ambiance is great. Presentation of food is fabulous. ALL items that we have ordered have been very tasty. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited back In March and I had promised to write a review for Mario the owner. Better late than never! It was our last night on holiday in Fort Lauderdale and after googling local restaurants we settled on this one. It was the perfect end to the holiday. The greeter initially told us it would be an hour and... More

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service! It's impossible to have a bad meal, bad drink or bad time. Must try the prickly pear and bread pudding. Canyon is a restaurant that cares about quality.

I've been coming here for about 15 years now and it's wonderful food and great drinks! Julie and Monica keep the bar running smoothly with great drinks and service. One of the best Filet Mignon in Lauderdale (it and Grill 66 are the best...then Steak 954/Timpanos). Obviously, the Prickly Pear is the cocktail to order (at least one)! Opens at... More

I am never disappointed at this restaurant even though my expectations are always high, given the extremely positive experiences I've had there in the past. The food is unique and delicious. On my most recent visit, my husband and I ordered two specials that had just been added to the menu that day - both were outstanding. The service is... More

It was Monday night around 6:30 when we decided to give Canyon's a try. The entrance is through a side door off the parking area and opens onto a very crowded bar. The mostly over 30 crowd was a nice mix of sophisticated and well dressed members of both genders. We asked the friendly hostess if we could get a... More

If you love Southwest (not Mexican) food and are hungry for a treat.....SOUTHWEST CAFE is a must. This local and easy to find (parking in the rear) establishment is quite unique. Anyone of the dozen or so small plates are outstanding and the larger (main entrée) dishes are excellent. They open their doors at 5:30 PM exactly --so come early... More

The food is absolutely delicious. Very small restaurant and the wait can be lengthy since they don't take reservations. The filet is great and the special berry dessert is devine. Can be loud depending on the other patrons. Worth a visit.

We've stopped in Canyon a couple of times now and both times found the food to be prepared perfectly, an abundance of carefully pair flavors. I recommend sharing a few small plates if just the two of you. Also, they have the best margaritas we've had in very long time.
