Amazing Fresh Fish

Wonderful dinner here before going to the Broward pac. Conch chowder delicious and mahi was as fresh a piece of fish as we have ever had. Good service and fun atmosphere. Happy hour appreciated too. Will return.

Every year when we come to South Florida we find ourselves at Tarpon Bend. Today we had another great meal, just like every time before. My wife had a Crispy Grouper sandwich with the rice and beans and a Fat Tire on draft. She really liked the sandwich. There is too much bread and condiments to really eat it with... More

Took my family (2 adults, 1 teen) for dinner on a Friday night. Waited 20' for a table. Big college-aged crowd at the bar (there are several colleges nearby) and while not wild, the whole ambience is extremely loud such that we nearly had to shout to be heard across the table. Food was good. Service was a bit slow... More

Tarpon Bend is casual bar and restaurant conveniently located near the Riverwalk, Las Olas Boulevard, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, the NSU Art Museum, historic Stranahan House and the Museum of Discovery and Science. I have nothing but praise for the food and service we had. We started our lunch with their house made smoked fish spread. The... More

This salad is one of my favorite menu items here. It's always delicious, a lovely blend of ingredients. I got here before the crowd, which can get noisy for lunch on some days. Service was very good. I sat inside, shunning sidewalk dining because of impending rain.

Came with my staff to have a happy hour holiday, about 14 of us. Waiter told us to sit in two tables, we order drinks only to find out that the table was reserved and did not have any reservation signs. All this after we had ordered drinks and had to pay. We were told to get up from the... More

Came here to eat after attending an event at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. It is within walking distance of the center so we did not have to move our car from the parking garage. There was seating inside and outside, we opted on sitting inside. There is also a room upstairs that I believe is used for... More

Our party of four ate a wonderful lunch before a matinee at The Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The portions are big! Three in our party had specialty salads and the other a hamburger. All were serviced quickly and with a friendly smile. The drink selection was diverse. We received a free appetizer after showing our Center tickets which... More

Clean, quick and consistent. A great place for a quick business lunch downtown. LOVE the kale salad (which they add grilled chicken to) and a cup of the conch chowder is an easy 'go-to' lunch that is filling but healthy.

Even though it was getting crowded before a game, staff was prompt and attentive. Food was good - not exceptional, but this isn't a "fine dinning" type of place.
