EXCELLENT SERVICE

I came for lunch. The place wasn't yet busy, though there were other diners here. I took a booth indoors. Though there was sidewalk dining available, it was too hot outside. I ordered the southwest chicken salad. It was very good. Service was excellent. I had two waitresses who attended to me... read more

Killing time before a delayed flight and took the Sun Trolley (free) down town to look around. Stopped in this place for brunch. Portions gigantic, kids loved the capt crunch French toast! Would recommend

Right down the street from Broward Performing Arts, good food, quick and friendly service. Prices are reasonable. Better to get there early as tables fill up on the inside. The patio is good for people watching, but the bugs can be distracting. Conch soup ok, clams tasty as an appetizer. Fish sandwich needs to work on the toasted bread, but... More

While it is across from the museum it isn't a resturant as much as a bar that serves food. Limited menu for Sunday brunch but expected excellent fish. Everything was over cooked and overpriced had both dolphin and wahoo both dry from overcooking. 1 grilled 1 fried so it has to be the kitchen had a good flavor but there... More

Went there for an event a month or so ago. The place was definitely a downhome, unpretentious place for a meal and a beer (all good things), but the place smelled kind of dirty and everything felt sticky... I would expect that outside where it might be hot and humid, but not inside an air conditioned place. This is a... More

I went to Tarpon Bend after reading that they have a grouper sandwich that had pretty good reviews on TA. Unfortunately, I dined during the Sunday Brunch hours, of which the menu did not include the grouper sandwich. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I instead ordered the grilled mahi sandwich, which was okay. It would have benefitted from more... More

I went to this place before one of the concerts. We had the craft beer that was featured that night and price was very reasonable at happy hour. We had the calamari appetizer which was great with nice crunch served with some sauce on the side. We had the chopped salad with chicken breast which is a huge portion and... More

We stopped in to kill some time before dinner elsewhere and a movie later, but decided to stay for $5 burgers once we saw how nice the place was with friendly staff. Glad we stopped in, because there are only 2 other restaurants I've been to that serve a better burger and those place are phenomenal.

Our family loves going to Tarpon Bend for the wahoo sandwich. It's one of the few restaurants that serve it. Also, they have delicious, juicy $5 burgers on Monday night with skinny fries.

We went to Tarpon Bend with friends for Sunday Brunch and had a nice meal. Free mimosas for women, which was nice. The bloody marys were delicious. The food was good, we all enjoyed our meal. Not the most spectacular but a fun place we will definitely visit again.
