A nice local spot to meet friends for a quick meal. Seafood is the best option here, hence the name. Our go to meal is the Dolphin Reuben or any fish special. Typically, this place gets packed, so I recommend going a bit earlier. Great happy hour. Great staff. Parking is a bit more complicated but there are parking garages... More

Our visit was on a Saturday afternoon during happy hour. A little rowdy in a fun way around the bar. Two for ones on most beverages. Food - calamari appetizer, generous portion, very good. Dinner - salmon, excellent w one side. We chose fresh, sauteed spinach which was excellent! A burger order was large & cooked to order, very good.... More

We ate here after leaving the Science museum and stumbled onto happy hour. The food was awesome; I recommend the jambalaya. Drinks were 2/1. The service was top notch. The place wasn't crowded. Parents, 12 year old, and 21 year old kids were all pleased with the food!

We used to go here a lot when we were in school. We always had a blast and it was always packed on Saturdays. If you want the college feel, attractive young people, and tons of drinks then this is the spot for you. The band was always pretty solid and if you didn't want that noise there was a... More

Tarpon Bend reminds me of the Enrgizer Bunny: It keeps going and going and going. It is one of those bar/restaurants that has the right combination of everything to survive forever. Good food, including a great fish sandwich (three or four catch of the day choices, and they are all fresh, not frozen), a hotpot of assorted fish and shellfish,... More

I've eaten here several times, usually for lunch. It does get busy here at lunchtime during the week, so I make it a point to arrive early. I usually order the Southwest Chicken Tortilla Salad. Very tasty. The tortilla strips add a nice crunch to the dish. My other favorite entrée is the Baja Mahi Tacos: "soft tortillas, avocado, pico... More

I've been eating at Tarpon Bend for over 12 years, as the restaurant is a few steps from my office. the food has always been great and the location is perfect. Located in the Historic Himmarshee District of Fort Lauderdale, Tarpon Bend is always a vibrant, happening place. The lunch menu is extensive, with awesome burgers and sandwiches, great (oversized)... More

Fave place to meet up with friends before heading to the theater. Yes, we're over dressed sitting in a bar, but they have best ever smoked fish, packed in glass jar. Wash it down with 2 glasses happy hour wine and you are good to go!

We had reservations but because of the live music, we couldn't even talk with our group. I guess that people who just wanted to drink and listen to music would have been fine with this but for a meal...no way. We just left.
