This place reminds me of Poquita Mas if you've ever eaten in LA. You order at the counter -- choices of tacos, burritos, salads, sides, etc. They call out your number when your order is ready. They'll give you chips, and you hit the salsa bar to choose your salsa. The salsa fresco, tomatillo, and pico de gallo are fresh... More

Love love love this place! Consistent and delicious! Too lazy to cook? We had one shredded beef burrito and a regular beef burrito. Comes with fresh tortilla chips, lightly salted. The burritos are pretty hefty and filled with all of the yummy stuff one can expect in a burrito. The difference here is everything is made fresh. The salsa bar... More

You honestly can't beat this place. The food is healthy, freshly prepared, delicious, truly inexpensive and abundant. What more could you want? Even with a simple order of black beans with rice ($3 for a heaping plateful) you could add on a chicken breast or a steak portion or Michaca (kind of a stewed flavorful beef) and have a huge... Usually a favorite lunch spot , and occasionally dinner we always enjoy the fresh salsa bar and entrees.I love the fish tacos or chopales salad. Quick, fresh and consistent. Great value. Atmosphere is basic, music in evening is a little more romantic. Outside seating is plentiful and ok for well behaved dogs. Parking can be a little tight at lunch... More

I am not a fan of super spicy food, but in choosing Southwestern/Mex food for lunch, I was looking for a little bit more flavor. I ordered Shrimp Tacos and they were okay. All they had on them was onions and cilantro - I was looking for a little more... queso? lettuce? olives? They did have a salsa bar so... More

Honestly in south Florida you really have to look for good authentic Mexican food that hasn't been tainted by other Latin flavors, as it's such a melting pot down here. it's pure. If you can't find one of those holes in the wall the machaca burrito here is pretty darn good.
