Espana in Lauderdale

For a change of place the Spanish restaurant is very good and rules the roost for its food in Fort Lauderdale. Well it's not as great as what I've had in Spain, it's still good enough to thoroughly enjoy. Plan on bringing a big appetite.

I love trip advisor, but it has let me down quite a few times and this is one of them. It's reviews, that is. Read so may good things about this one and choose it for a family gathering. When I arrived I wanted to cry. Reviews said beautiful decor, really???? Dark, old and small??? That's what people likes nowadays?... More

My husband and I had just returned from a vacation in Spain and wanted to have Spanish food as we missed it and found Cafe Seville. What an amazing experience. The food was wonderful. I ordered the Snapper and it was so fresh and delicious. My husband had a lobster dish which was superb. The owner was very friendly and... More

My husband, 11 mo old, and I had the best seafood paella! Everything was cooked to perfection, and the ratio of seafood to rice was perfect. The staff was amazing, seeing as we walked in with a baby, this says a lot. A MUST try!

During the summer, lunch is ordered from their blackboard specials. Some tapas; soup(s); and a whole lot of choices from trout to rabbit; chicken to chops, all including soup or salad and side of rice with broccoli, today. My husband had their braised rabbit done in an oh so delicious brown sauce that he sopped up with rice and their... More

2 dishes that people recommend on this site were so average. The shrimp in watery garlic sauce & overcooked beans, & the sugary sweet leches cake. Both are so much tastier & less expensive at Las Vegas restaurant down the street.

Awesome food! Upon arriving, the restaurant is small but don't let that fool you as it's worth waiting to enjoy wonderful food. The portions were good sized as I have two teenage boys that were full before all the food was served. The quality of the food was superb & definitely worth the price.

My brother and I wanted to take our father to something other than an Italian or fish restaurant. I have been to Spain many times and wanted him to try Spanish cuisine. We made the reservations (which are a must) and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The decor reminded me of the small restaurants in Rhonda and Granada. Food was excellent.... More

Our family felt like we were in Spain. Superb food and service, excellent wine & beer list. The Paella was wonderful and there were many specials - all of which were outstanding. We tried the Grouper Ole and the red Snapper specials...both thoughtfully prepared with great attention to detail. Highly recommend for a special evening. Be sure to make a... More

Staff was quick and courteous, the place was a little cramped, don't go without reservations. Appetizer was overpriced, few slices of salami, ham and cheese for $16. Food was very tasty and large portions, but average cost about $28. Good experience, but too pricey for a large family.
