Lovely Italian restaurant

We've been going to Il Mulino for years and it remains a lovely Italian restaurant with good food and reasonable prices. The pasta is homemade and don't miss the garlic rolls if you love garlic. Every dish we've tried there has been good.

People keep going, it's always busy when I drive by, so I thought it's time to pop in. Well..the service is great, place is a bit dark, but cosy. The food...we had a pizza..oven made tasted like plastic...had the cap research salad..no pesto and bit bland...garlic bread...a teaspoon of crushed garlic from a jar baked in the oven - yuk... Each time we dine here we are delighted with the excellent Italian dishes. Everything is fresh and made to order. The staff is great and the owner makes sure your visit is great. Never had a bad meal here and will go back again and again.

Went there today to celebrate our 25th anniversary nothing extreme just private. Ordered the drinks and food , burrata , seafood salad ,faggotino and a bottle of wine. Normally you are offered bread with or without garlic but not this time. Just nothing "ok" no problem. The wine and burrata came quickly except for the seafood salad and faggotino not... More

I went to Il Mulino for the first time and was delighted with the service and food. The price for lunch was reasonable and there were a variety of choices. I had the shrimp parmesan and it was delicious, the plate had a decent amount of food on it - sometimes in fine dining you find that the plate has... More

We were hesitant to try Il Mulino because of the mixed reviews on trip advisor but decided to eat here on recommendation from one of the hotel staff. The meal was average Italian. One of the dishes we ordered was rigatoni vodka and it tasted nothing like vodka sauce! However the staff was very friendly and the service was quick.... More

If you like Italian food, specials on bottles of wine and a great atmosphere, great staff, this is your spot. It's a fine restaurant with good prices. They usually run a wine bottle special on Thursday nights. It's our go to place when we are entertaining guests or just want a perfect date night out!

Wonderful local restaurant - a terrific gem. Prices were reasonable and quality was excellent. The garlic bread was moist, warm, and oh so very smooth with a powerful garlic taste. Just a delight! House salad dressing delicate and flavorful; had to be homemade. The chicken Parmesan dish came with homemade pasta which was outstanding. To end this perfect meal we... More

Read the many reviews and decided to visit the day before of cruise. We are from NJ and have a wealth of Italian restaurants to choose from there. If this restaurant was there, it wouldn't be in business too long. I had the spaghetti with meat sauce and it had no flavor. I added a side of sausage and the... More

Here's a tip: great spot to go after an early afternoon movie at the Gateway Movie Theater. Il Mulino has a late lunch menu that is very inexpensive and there is an excellent selection of entrees. More than suffices for an early dinner! But the full dinner anytime is always good and the place gets busy fast. Great food, good... More
