Description: The original Rustic Inn Fort Lauderdale crabhouse began as a roadhouse...
The original Rustic Inn Fort Lauderdale crabhouse began as a roadhouse saloon. As time went by, our hole-in-the-wall Ft Lauderdale crabhouse grew up, keeping with the demand for steamed crabs, seafood, linguini with homemade sauces and other popular dishes. Our World Famous Garlic Crabs are known the world over. We invite you and your family to see what the legend is all about. Enjoy waterfront dining on our dock or in our main dining room. Visit our cocktail lounge and enjoy one of our original frozen drinks.

Noisy, but good food.

My boss knew this place and it was close by our hotel. With a crabhouse, crabs are the thing, obviously. With that goes hammering to crack the shells etc, so the noise level is kind of high. Not terrible, just a head's up. Neither of us ordered crab (too much work) and I had a grilled grouper... read more

As the name implies this is a uniqe and pleasantly rustic experience. The food is always good -its just a fun casual place to have great seafood. The prices are a little high but you will definitely like it.

Been here forever and we have been going there forever! They have excellent crabs-try the golden crabs! Really great clams on the half shell and the oyster Rockefeller is yum! You can buy the seafood tools from them too.

I have been to this restaurant in the past when staying overnight in Fort Lauderdale to depart for a cruise. In the past, it was excellent, and I was excited to return. However, recently, they have been transitioned to a new owner, and the food does not have the same "it" factor. I ordered the same exact thing as in... More

While they are know for their crabs I go for the fish and chips. Huge portions and taste delicious! A must go of in the area for lunch or dinner

This rustic establishment has one of the best tasting seafood I have ever eaten. The prices are higher than I'm used to, but after tasting the food I understand why. This restaurant is apparently well known for every seat got filled short after our arrival. Celebrate other guests birthdays by slamming your shell-food hammer in the table and gorge in... More

All though must of the food was good the service was the worst ever not only did the waitress was grumpy and extremely slow, she was always right and everything we said, did or thought was WRONG. Will probably go back, but definitely not the same waitress.

First time at Rustic...referred by a friend. I had the crab platter...can you say Happy Happy Joy Joy>???? It was delicious. I wanted another helping. This is what you would call a "hidden gem". On the water, I just really appreciated the freshness. Will go back when I visit again.

Crabs cooked any way you can imagine. Surprised how busy they were. Good service and portions. Seated pretty quick although there appeared to be a big wait as the restaurant is huge. If you are into crabs this is a place for you. Will skip on the next visit.

Crazy over sea location, probably the funniest thing is feeding the tarpons with crab residuals. However, the food is fresh and tasteful, available lots of kinda of crab cooked in different ways. MUST GO IF IN FT LAUDERDALE!
