Description: The original Rustic Inn Fort Lauderdale crabhouse began as a roadhouse...
The original Rustic Inn Fort Lauderdale crabhouse began as a roadhouse saloon. As time went by, our hole-in-the-wall Ft Lauderdale crabhouse grew up, keeping with the demand for steamed crabs, seafood, linguini with homemade sauces and other popular dishes. Our World Famous Garlic Crabs are known the world over. We invite you and your family to see what the legend is all about. Enjoy waterfront dining on our dock or in our main dining room. Visit our cocktail lounge and enjoy one of our original frozen drinks.

This is a South Florida classic.

This place has been in its location for years. This is the place to go if you are in the mood for crabs. My favorite is the crab sampler. Just don't go with a headache. Every time they announce someone's birthday, the whole place goes nuts with the crab mallets.

When I first started going to this restaurant the portions were reasonable and you did not mine to pay their prices. This is my fifth time and the food was bad

You have to know a local to find this place, but well worth seeking out! The crabs were large and plentiful! The atmosphere was fun and inviting. This is great seafood and fun.

They finally stopped using old newspapers for table cloths, but the atmosphere is fun, touristy, and still best place for crab legs in South Florida. I don't eat the crab, but everyone I have dined with love them and they know good from bad. This is definitely the place to go for seafood, but go sloppy as there are always... More

This place has been around for a long time. I always take family who come to visit me in Florida for fresh crab. Great variety and always fresh - love it! It's very noisy inside, great for the little ones. My niece felt very comfortable in this atmosphere. Picnic table style with the noise of hammers cracking open crabs, you... More

As many times that I have visited family in the Ft. Lauderdale area, I can't believe I have never been here. This is a new staple place for me to go to when we visit family for now on. This is an old established restaurant near Ft. Lauderdale International Airport and right on a canal. They are known for their... More

This old established restaurant is near most of the hotels that are used pre and post cruise or pre and post flights. The staff are very friendly and the food was excellent. It is not cheap but good seafood is expensive and this place serves great Crab. If you are in the area it is well worth a trip to... More

I have dined here many times over they years. If you are a crab person this is the place. The only downer is the prices are steep. Minimum $45 for any crab dish. But the place is solid and a local treasure.
