The original Rustic Inn Fort Lauderdale crabhouse began as a roadhouse saloon. As time went by, our hole-in-the-wall Ft Lauderdale crabhouse grew up, keeping with the demand for steamed crabs, seafood, linguini with homemade sauces and other popular dishes.

Our World Famous Garlic Crabs are known the world over. We invite you and your family to see what the legend is all about. Enjoy waterfront dining on our dock or in our main dining room. Visit our cocktail lounge and enjoy one of our original frozen drinks.

Fun place for dinner

I took my mom to the rustic inn for her birthday and she loved it especially the part where she gets to beat the crabs with a mallet . Wonderful food and good service

I wish I would have been hungry once we arrived. We have the soup of the day which was a stone crab chowder and the house sampler platter of appetizers. Frog legs, peel and eat shrimp, crab cake, mussels, conch fritters and alligator bites. Anyone that loves seafood has to make time for the Rustic Inn. Ten minutes from the... More

all kind of crabs here, hammers on table, a lot of noise and fun! it is on waterfront canal but not on the intracoastal. Large parking lot area, I have always seen this place crowded but we never waited to be seated. Birthdays are celebrated with hammers noise on the tables... lots of fun!

I've heard so much about this place so figured I'd try it out. First impressions you can tell mom and pops, not a corporate company. My daughter and I went for a celebratory dinner for good grades. We ordered the conch chowder and clam chowder. Both were good. Ordered the conch fritters, they were ok. Server (Luis) recommended the king... More

Rustic Inn provided FREE lunch or dinner for Veterans on Veterans Day, Unadvertised but we lucked out by someone calling us at the Naval Air Station Museum and letting us know about the Veterans Day benefit. Food was GREAT as usual :)

I was pleasantly surprised by the large amount of options on the menu. The market price scared me, so I stuck with items that had pricing listed. The portion sizes were perfect for the value. Enjoyed myself and would recommend this place to others!

I'll start with the good: Keran was our waitress. She was prompt, gave us suggestions on the menu and was very attentive. I had the lobster roll and it was delicious. It was a perfect combo of lobster and butter. At the suggestion of Keran, I shared a bowl of crab chowder. It also was very delicious. Be careful of... More

We were in town for one night and in the mood for seafood. A little pricey, but very good food and large portions. We ordered the lobster/seafood with spaghetti. Two of us split it and could not finish it all... You were given little hammers instead of shell crackers. It was very messy picking up a whole lobster and crabs... More
