Visited the Rustic Inn for my birthday with family this year and absolutely loved it! The service and food was great! I had the garlic crabs and it was absolutely delicious!! I would recommend bringing your appetites as the portions are rather large. Rustic Inn gets crowded on the weekends so arrive early 6-630 if you don't want to wait.... More

Casual seafood restaurant in southern Ft. Lauderdale. You need a car or cab from beach area. Eat outside due to banging mallets crushing crab shells and celebrating birthday announcements. Paper covered tables add to ambiance as well as nautical memorabilia hanging on walls and ceiling. The soft shell crabs are DELICIOUS served in their secret sauce. Your order comes in... More

First timers should know that there are a variety of spots to sit- so stroll around. Indoor dining has a lot of community tables so if you like chatting up and sharing stories with strangers, or like to be in a crazy loud room that's perfect for kids (no one will hear them) - indoor room is perfect. Date night,... More

Everything was delicious but the crabs and garlic bread were the stand out. Service was fast. The place is large and full of memorabilia hanging on their walls. You have to check your receipt though as our server made a mistake by charging us an extra bucket for the crab. It was an honest mistake but like anywhere else, checking... More

We came in with a group of 9, doing the cruise ship next day thing. It’s all seafood, not much land lovers choices. It’s funny to watch people with the mallets breaking open the shells. Its great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.

Not only is the food AMAZING, but so is the service! We ordered the Garlic Crab for starters, definitely a must! You can't go wrong with any of the food options. The Gary's 3 Hurricane was so good, probably one of the best mixed cocktails I've tasted.

We've been coming to this restaurant every time we have visited for last 14 years, tonight we brought friends for 1st time, once again service was friendly, cocktail mixers need to looked at, tasted like cough syrup but that was so overlooked by the food. Crabs were hot and delicious, pasta was so big 4 people could have shared!! We... More

Have been to the crab house several times. Luckily someone told me about this place. Would have never found it by accident. Great food and very rustic place. Good service also.

We had great seafood here theother evening. I was here with colleagues after work. I had the broiled grouper and clam chowder, the others ordered conch chowder and shrimp dinners. All of the meals were excellent. My one partner really liked the conch chowder. She said it is the best she has eaten in all of Florida.

Beware of the market price named outside of the restaurant -- we unknowingly paid $70 per king crab order. However, excellent service, food tasty, great atmosphere
