We went here with a Living Social Deal for a late lunch and felt we made quite a find. Despite a strip mall location, the ambiance inside was very pleasing as was the service. It was nice to have soft music that was appropriate to the location. The wine was excellent and reasonable. We shared a wonderful meatball, mushroom appetizer.... More

Cafe Vico used to be a quiet, pseudo old-world italian restaurant with nice traditional fare at reasonable prices. The newly expanded restaurant is a disappointment. The have added a new entrance and large piano bar directly off the main dining room. The noise from the over amplified singers had us yelling across the dining table to be heard. It was... More

I recently went to Cafe Vico after not having been there for many years. The restaurant has greatly expanded and is more upscale then when I first went. For men, pants in the evening, not shorts, and not a flip flop type of restaurant. We only had drinks and one appetizer since we went for the entertainment of RICK AND... More

Cafe Vico has always had great food. Their recent expansion did not hurt them at all giving you a chance to enjoy the new bar and less formal dining there. Food and service continue to be great.

We went on a Saturday night based on a recommendation. I'm not sure if it was because The Fort Laudedale Boat Show was going on...but it was a much older clientele. The decor was very dated and "old world" Italian and what I mean is that very tacky and hadn't been changed in 30 years . As far as the... More

They have a nice selection of beverages, but specialize in wine. The menu is typical Italian, but prepared to be extremely delicious. The ambiance is classy Italian, and the service is good and helpful if you need assistance in making a selection. I've gone back there many times and always been more than satisfied.

My wife and I took a booth in the bar. The atmosphere was classy and romantic. Low lighting, some of it blue. A piano player in the corner singing pleasant songs from bygone decades. My wife ordered the Chicken Piccata. I went with the Lasagna Bolognese with bechamel sauce. While we awaited our entrées, we nibbled on rolls that we... More

Nice dining experience. Atmosphere was pleasing. Service was great. Food was delicious. Limited menu - was easy to order. Price point was quite high for the type of food. Many other restaurants in the area offer the same quality food for lower price point. Table clothes were a great touch but they were spotted (dirty). Fresh linens would be expected... More

Excellent authentic Italian food! We have eaten here for dinner and decided to try the new piano bar. Weather you go for dinner or apps, you won't be disappointed.

Friday was National Pasta Day, a great time to pair Italian dishes with cocktails. I stopped in Cafe Vico. and went to "The piano Bar" for happy hour.. I had reduced priced appetizers, calamari, salmon carpaccio. To drink Vico tini, made with Absolut peach vodka, schnapps and prosecco. I had a very good happy hour.
