We're middle aged locals that dine out regularly and not high maintenance. Café Vico provided a very unprofessional/unwelcoming experience from start to finish. Walked in on a Sunday night around 6:45; place was dead. The host just stared at us; never said a word while 4 other employees chatted amongst themselves ignoring us? Once seated we had to ask for... Not my first time here, but felt like it, since they have expanded to a space next door. The new space looks great and added a huge bar area as well as room for musicians. They had 2 different singers last night. Both were good in their own way and not so loud that you couldn't still carry on a... More

The menu is filled with favorites that won't let you down. Whether it's the eggplant parm or the seafood stew, pasta, or veal ... each selection is a solid option.

I love Italian food (who doesn't?!?)... Thank goodness I found this amazing restaurant in Fort Lauderdale- Cafe Vico- which is by far, the best Italian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale I have come across yet! They serve amazing bread with garlic & olive oil and have excellent wine. Their entrees and side dishes are so delicious and beautifully prepared. You can't... More

We went here with a Living Social Deal for a late lunch and felt we made quite a find. Despite a strip mall location, the ambiance inside was very pleasing as was the service. It was nice to have soft music that was appropriate to the location. The wine was excellent and reasonable. We shared a wonderful meatball, mushroom appetizer.... More

Cafe Vico used to be a quiet, pseudo old-world italian restaurant with nice traditional fare at reasonable prices. The newly expanded restaurant is a disappointment. The have added a new entrance and large piano bar directly off the main dining room. The noise from the over amplified singers had us yelling across the dining table to be heard. It was... More

I recently went to Cafe Vico after not having been there for many years. The restaurant has greatly expanded and is more upscale then when I first went. For men, pants in the evening, not shorts, and not a flip flop type of restaurant. We only had drinks and one appetizer since we went for the entertainment of RICK AND... More

Cafe Vico has always had great food. Their recent expansion did not hurt them at all giving you a chance to enjoy the new bar and less formal dining there. Food and service continue to be great.

We went on a Saturday night based on a recommendation. I'm not sure if it was because The Fort Laudedale Boat Show was going on...but it was a much older clientele. The decor was very dated and "old world" Italian and what I mean is that very tacky and hadn't been changed in 30 years . As far as the... More
