Description: Voted "Best Seafood Restaurant", "Best Waterfront Restaurant" and "Best Restaurant to take your parents" in South Florida by a Sun-Sentinel readers poll in 2013. Legendary Local Dining Landmark and Marina. Casual dining with fresh seafood. DockSide Cafe, offers live music on weekends, while watching the daily feeding of Giant Silver Tarpons at our docks. Incredibly creative dining upstairs in a historic setting of early Fort Lauderdale and the marina, a "hush-hush" naval research facility in WW II. Complimentary valet parking and dock for your boat. You simply will not find better views in South Florida, with hundreds of boats navigating the waterways.

I thought that there would be many many fresh fish options, there were some, but not that many. We had the Crab Cake Sliders and the El Cubano sandwich. Nothing spectacular. Great spot for tourist food.

This is one of our favorite South Florida restaurants. It sits basically on top of a working marina right on the intracoastal waterway. The expansive views are out to the East, the waterway, Ft. Lauderdale beach and the ocean (in the distance). There are a few Tables for Two that have seating only on one side so that both people... More

We went here our last night in Florida and I have to say the food and service was excellent. There is a choice of either eating upstairs, where it is more formal or downstairs, where it is more on the casual side, which we chose. This is also a water taxi stop, if you don't have a car or want... More

We wanted good seafood on the water and our friends recommended this place. The ambiance was ok. Waterfront on the intercoastal. We sat on the main level. We were presented with two menus, one for upstairs and one for downstairs to order off of. Service was good, drinks were good and outdoor patio seating was nice. I HATE when a... More

I didn't read the reviews before a friend suggested we eat there; I'm rather glad I didn't! Some suggested it was NOT a great place to eat. Our experience was great. We ate on the covered deck. It is a little crowded, but not terribly so. And, the food was excellent. The server was delightful. There was virtually no wait;... More

This place is a find...a little out of the way by car, but worth the effort. Very relaxed, good menu with generous portions...ate stone crab claws twice here, as well as other appetizers and the Cuban sandwich. Accessible via the water taxi if you are spending the day on the water. Good service and fun to watch the boats come... More

Title says it all. You will love the boats going by and the kids will be thrilled at seeing the fish being feed etc., but not everyone will love the food. Still, it is a good value and is always fun.

Good food, great location - only one problem with this place is the staff. Indifferent greeter, pretty much a bumbling waiter who really needs to think about a different career, a bread woman who walked off before my wife had chance to grab her bread.....took a while to get served. Maybe being harsh but for the price of the food... More
