Voted "Best Seafood Restaurant", "Best Waterfront Restaurant" and "Best Restaurant to take your parents" in South Florida by a Sun-Sentinel readers poll in 2013. Legendary Local Dining Landmark and Marina. Casual dining with fresh seafood. DockSide Cafe, offers live music on weekends, while watching the daily feeding of Giant Silver Tarpons at our docks. Incredibly creative dining upstairs in a historic setting of early Fort Lauderdale and the marina, a "hush-hush" naval research facility in WW II. Complimentary valet parking and dock for your boat. You simply will not find better views in South Florida, with hundreds of boats navigating the waterways.

great selection

The conch chowder and the Mahi dinner are among the best you can find anywhere in the area. Five of us visited on a very busy Saturday afternoon. We had to wait a few minutes for a table by the water, but the experience far outweighed the time.

Great service. A person answered the phone to make reservations and answer questions about how to get there by water taxi. There were enough bartenders to attend to us while we waited. I asked for a table overlooking the water, and they obliged me. Very good service by a fun staff. Food was served hot, on time and was very... More

Very nice restaurant. They have an upper and lower level. The upper level is more upscale; we ate on the lower level. It seems that you can also get the same food on either level. The restaurant had cut outs in the floor so you could see fish swimming below you. There is also a very nice view of the... More

Our nephew choose this restaurant for our visit to Fort Lauderdale and we had a fantastic dinner overlooking the waterway. Food, service and atmosphere were excellent.

Went there for lunch after a round of golf. Been there a few times and will definitely go back. Recommend sitting outside/downstair. If you book online you're seated on the upper floor. We changed this upon arrival.

We've been going here for 8 years and have never been let down. Food is consistently outstanding, the view of the boats traveling up and down the inland waterway is fun, and the wait staff are fast, but attentive and pleasant. We'll continue to go there a couple of times whenever we are in the area to enjoy the beach,... More

Restaurant is situated on the harbor and accessible by water taxi. We came by car and if you can't grab metered parking, there is valet parking for $5. Service was slow to start - a good 10 min to get menus. I think our server had 2 other large tables but we were patient and things improved. Lots of creative... More

Great waterfront dining experience. Stone crabs were in season and prepared perfectly! The conch bisque was spicy and flavorful. Service was fantastic and they catered to our parties' dietary needs.

Our table had 2 Chilean Sea Bass, 1 Tuna, and 1 Chicken. Everything was good, not great. The Sea Bass was a thin cut (most high end restaurants have a thick cut), with a good flavor. I was most impressed with the chef's accommodation to a dairy allergy at out table. All special requests were honored. We miss the 'bread... More

This restaurant is on the water taxi route so very easy to reach both by car or by boat. It is right in the water and has a ground and second floor restaurant. Beautiful waterside location in Ft Lauderdale Marina. We went for an early supper. Happy hour is held inside around the bar which has TV screens if you... More
