Description: Voted "Best Seafood Restaurant", "Best Waterfront Restaurant" and "Best Restaurant to take your parents" in South Florida by a Sun-Sentinel readers poll in 2013. Legendary Local Dining Landmark and Marina. Casual dining with fresh seafood. DockSide Cafe, offers live music on weekends, while watching the daily feeding of Giant Silver Tarpons at our docks. Incredibly creative dining upstairs in a historic setting of early Fort Lauderdale and the marina, a "hush-hush" naval research facility in WW II. Complimentary valet parking and dock for your boat. You simply will not find better views in South Florida, with hundreds of boats navigating the waterways.

Talk about room with a view - this restaurant is a staple of the community in Fort Lauderdale - we take my gramps there whenever we bust him out of the old folks home - he is an old salty sailor and it makes him happy to see the boats. My 7 year old loves to feed the HUGE fish... More

Do you want great food and drinks worth buying (yes I like my drinks strong) this is a great place to find both of those indulgence? The view is great the space in the dining area is a little small so you will be close on the table beside you but it's worth it. The staff is super friendly and... More

Nice to see families coming for dinner, but not using a mini-van. Instead they were using boats. Tie it up by the pier and off to dinner. It's a true water lifestyle.

The food was awesome, it was my birthday, there are two restaurants at this place, the upstairs (more formal) and downstairs, we chose downstairs and sat outside where we could see the fish swimming in the water and we could watch folks feed those fish. But anyway, for apetizer choose the smoked fish, actually it could be a meal by itself.... More

We walked from our hotel but took a taxi back (in the dark). Wish we had taken the water taxi but we had limited time. We were seated right away at an outside table and enjoyed the tarpon feeding while we waited for dinner. Service was awesome and the food was fresh. Had the coconut shrimp which was amazing and... On the Intracoastal Waterway, has a Marina. You can arrive by boat or car. You can dine inside or outside. My first time dining @ "15th street Fisheries", was 1967. I was happy with the restaurant then and happy with it now. The building is old but fits in great with the dockside. It is a Marina so lots of... More

We took the watertaxi to the restaurant. I'm glad we did, when we told the guide that we were having lunch there she gave us a coupon for free desert and a discount on our lunch. :) We both had the coconut shrimp and sangria's. Both were awesome. One of the best meals we had on our vacation. We ate... More

I'll start off with the complaint, since there is only one. To get to this restaurant by land was a tad confusing - but they did have complimentary valet parking so that offset the confusion getting there. You are told to sit anywhere you like - choose from the preppy upstairs or the laid back downstairs. We opted for downstairs... More

15th Street Fisheries is two restaurants in one. Upstairs the dining is dressier and a bit costlier, but a nice place for a special event. Downstairs in the Dockside Cafe, the food is excellent, not as pricy and you can sit outside overlooking the water. Sometimes the upstairs' menu is also offered Dockside. I prefer to go by boat and... More
