Amazing food! Always fresh! Must try the Brussels sprouts and rock shrimp appetizer- my favorite roll is the Fancy... Staff is super friendly and hands on. We've been coming here for a long time and have never had a bad experience, we are here once or twice a week (we were there last wednesday and sunday). You will not be... More

I was looking for something as authentic as I could get in the Davie, Plantation area, but my friends came up with this more upscale alternative. Less identifiable, the variety of tapas and big plates was quasi Asian - riffs on Korean BBQ, Malaysian stews and Chinese dim sum. More expensive, MUCH more if you order enough of the tiny... More

My "foodie" friends from New York, who think Florida restaurants are SECOND to New York, were EXTREMELY IMPRESSED by the cuisine, the décor, and the service, we had at Dapur. We had gone there,--- for their lunch,-- which is a "BUY." We were served a COMPLIMENTARY glass of sangria, which started the meal in a very positive way. We ordered... More

Okay... So if you wanna have a great time, good food, a great experience... This is the place to go! I'm not a tourist... Or a "spring breaker" here in Fort Lauderdale. I have lived here my whole life. I would recommend Dapur for any occasion or business function. Maybe a wedding reception or an engagement party! Hell... I would... More

Each time I am in Fort Lauderdale I make Dapur my lunch spot. This place has, by far, the very best Papaya salad I have ever experienced. My second favorite dish is the rock shrimp. The owner, Eddie, is friendly and makes an effort to greet restaurant guests and seeks to ensure their dining experience is memorable. All of the... More

Had dinner there, friendly staff, excellent food but not as much atmosphere as expected. However went there for dinner and not for a romantic meeting. We only ordered small plates. Definitely worth a try. Coming from switzerland, usd100 for 3 w/o alcoholic beverage was a great deal.

It's important to note that we are not "gourmet" diners and have not eaten at "fancy" restaurants. That said, we do enjoy the occasional well prepared and fresh meal and appreciate finely planned and well prepared meals. This place met every expectation and exceeded. Perhaps it helped that we were there early and did not require service from the bar. We... More
