Description: Market 17 is proud to be serving delicious, creative dishes that are literally from the farm right to the tables of our diners. We call this "wine country cuisine" because the emphasis is on fresh, clean food from top purveyors along with an abundant wine list. For the more adventurous diner, Market 17 offers 'dining in the dark'. It is our chefs table in a private room that allows a new way to experience food. Once your sight is turned off, all the other senses are heightened. It's a fun and unique experience to enjoy our food. (Due to limited seating, reservations for dining in the dark can be requested via open table notes but are not guaranteed. Please call 954.835.5507 to confirm dining in the dark reservation requests.) Our menu will change daily and we'll always offer amazing tasting menus for you to sample what the chef has created. Come and experience for yourself what all the buzz is about!

Had the ceviche and antelope. Excellent! Fabulous service. A bit price, but absolutely worth every penny

We were invited for dining In a dark for my friends birthday. After my last visit I never came here again, but I couldn't skip the birthday. Same story as before, prices high for a laughable amount of food. I can't be bewildered more by all the good reviews. Value is simply non existant. All the courses were minuscule. It's... More

On our way from the airport to our hotel in Fort Lauderdale we were hungry and passed by this restaurant. Farm fresh got my attention. The foods were very varied and interesting and tasty. We had 5 different dishes. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was quiet, peaceful and comfortable. I would recommend this place.

The ambience is great. Dining in the dark concept is great. Greg, the dark room host is excellent. The problem is the price to value ratio is poor. Very very expensive for what you get. Here's the deal, we got 4 courses. The first was a bowl of fruit that cost them all of $1; The last was a small... More

Market 17 is our no-brainer choice for every special occasion - birthdays, our anniversary, etc. It is consistently delicious, and the menu changes often so we never get bored of going there. For something different, try the antelope - it is amazing. The service is typically great - we only had one bad experience with service, and it was Valentine's... More

This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Ft. Lauderdale right now. They excelled in such a way that I ended up going three times during my stay in the city. I found the farm fresh concept of the restaurant very appealing and they didn't fail to deliver. The fact that they include a list of the farms that... More

Excellent food and service. The pork belly appetizer was absolutely the best I ever had. Both antelope steak and duck confit entrees were delicious. Napoleon desert was to die for. Very nice ambiance. Restaurant is a bit difficult to find but you should try! Good wine selection. No problems with parking. Overall – great experience, can’t wait to go back.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and not the same old same old. We experienced slow service; however, the manager talked to us about it prior to us inquiring as to the eta of our entrees. I would try this restaurant again because they did apologize for the delay. They offered us free desserts of which we did not... More

We did the Dining in the Dark experience and were the only two scheduled at our dinner time so we had the entire experience to ourselves. Absolutely amazing. The food is to die for... from the ceviche to the cheese course to the fish, and then duck, and then antelope, finally pork and last chocolate pate. Everything was amazing. I... More
