Description: Market 17 is proud to be serving delicious, creative dishes that are literally from the farm right to the tables of our diners. We call this "wine country cuisine" because the emphasis is on fresh, clean food from top purveyors along with an abundant wine list. For the more adventurous diner, Market 17 offers 'dining in the dark'. It is our chefs table in a private room that allows a new way to experience food. Once your sight is turned off, all the other senses are heightened. It's a fun and unique experience to enjoy our food. (Due to limited seating, reservations for dining in the dark can be requested via open table notes but are not guaranteed. Please call 954.835.5507 to confirm dining in the dark reservation requests.) Our menu will change daily and we'll always offer amazing tasting menus for you to sample what the chef has created. Come and experience for yourself what all the buzz is about!

I have travelled and dined all around but when I want to really treat myself I always go back to Market 17. This has to be the best restaurant I know. Everything is above standards and always beyond expectations. From the minute you walk in, the sleek decor is very tasteful and will suit every occasion from a romantic dinner,... More

After multiple visits to Market 17, I would give it a five-star recommendation with one exception. In our last few visits, the otherwise fabulous ambiance created by the wonderful food, service, and interior design was substantially degraded by the endless playlist of extremely loud and tasteless rock music dominated by shrill vocals and pounding drums that were completely incongruous with... Market 17 is a real fine dining experience in Ft Lauderdale. They emphasize fresh local food and design the menu around that. Very interesting dishes. Nice ambience and good service. They offer smaller "tasting" portions of the entries at lower prices, and we found that with an appetizer, the smaller dishes were a perfect size. It's not on the water,... More

This restaurant is exceptionally good, it is sophisticated and elegant, and I am not talking just about the ambiance. The food is delicious, fresh, innovative, just perfect. It is pricey and you do get more than what you pay for, BUT Happy Hour is indeed very happy. Appetizers and cocktails are 1/2 price and the cocktails are heavenly. Try one... More

If you have a chance to enjoy dining in the dark, you will not be disappointed. The farm to table food is excellent, and eating it in pitch darkness is one of the most unique dining experiences I have ever had. The wine pairings added another dimension. Enjoy!!

Put aside the fact five of us went here for happy hour and drinks and appetizers were half price. You have to eat at the bar to take advantage of this, but the food and wines were excellent. Braised beef cheeks were outstanding as was the pork belly and beef tartare. Also enjoyed four other appetizers and shared an entree... More

Had the Chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. Had their unique "miracle fruit" for dessert. What a great experience, delicious food. Great place to go on a romantic dinner or with a group of friends. If you haven't tried the "miracle fruit" it's a must try.

Fresh food, stunning ambiance and perfect service, one of our favorites in Fort Lauderdale. Located a little off the beaten path, they continue to be a destination for us. We like eating at the bar and this restaurant was made for this! Great lite bites, very good wine list and their specials never disappoint. Farm to table fresh salads and... More

My Fiance and I had the opportunity to attend the Market 17 Dining In The Dark. The event was fabulous and it's worth a look online. You are seated in a completely dark dining room, the servers wear night vision goggles so they can see but you can't. It's unbelievable for those of us who take our sight for granted.... More
