Market 17 is proud to be serving delicious, creative dishes that are literally from the farm right to the tables of our diners. We call this "wine country cuisine" because the emphasis is on fresh, clean food from top purveyors along with an abundant wine list. For the more adventurous diner, Market 17 offers 'dining in the dark'. It is our chefs table in a private room that allows a new way to experience food. Once your sight is turned off, all the other senses are heightened. It's a fun and unique experience to enjoy our food. (Due to limited seating, reservations for dining in the dark can be requested via open table notes but are not guaranteed. Please call 954.835.5507 to confirm dining in the dark reservation requests.) Our menu will change daily and we'll always offer amazing tasting menus for you to sample what the chef has created. Come and experience for yourself what all the buzz is about!

Best in Fort Lauderdale!

The service was fantastic. We had the Cobia collar and it was really good, as was the duck and the rare-cooked wahoo. My only beef was that the sommelier picked out a bottle of wine that was only ok. But the food and waiter were excellent.

We've done the dining in the dark a few times. This place is exceptional. The first dining in the dark experience was better then the second. Everything is a decedent surprise. Very romantic with your spouse, and fun with family and friends. The last time we were there we ate outside for one of the best meals I've had in... More

First and foremost lets start with the fact that we did not eat in the regular restaurant but in a separate room used for "Dining in the Dark". This is exactly what the name implies, you are eating in a totally dark room (waiter has to use night vision goggles). You eat with your hands because with a fork you... More

although on the fancier side this restaurant was very reasonably priced with choices between tasteings and full courses. My ceviche was delicious and tangy. The duck perfectly cooked with the wonderfully complimentary vegetables. A handmade sorbet to finish. All for a very very inexpensive price......this place knows what they are doing........

This is a gem of a restaurant, so glad I found it on trip advisor. A short cab ride from the Ritz hotel, we ended up eating here 3 of the 6 nights during our stay because we couldn't find other places that would meet the standards this place set on our first night in Fort Lauderdale! Menu didn't fully... More

Exceptional service, great wine selection, this place has a fresh feel to it. Love the tasting portion idea... This gives one the opportunity for those with smaller appetites to enjoy a couple of selections. I enjoyed the perfectly med-rare antelope that just about melts in your mouth. Others had pork tenderloin which was superb. The Chamomile Creme brûlée was right out... More

Market 17 excels in one and only one thing, namely, weirdness. My wife and I dine out a lot and go to some of the best restaurants both in the US and abroad. We can assure you that Market 17 is not anywhere near the best. In fact., given the weirdness of their menu, it rates pretty low with us.... More

Nice décor, good service, small portions. I had the duck - which was very good and crisp and only came in one size. My husband had the tasting portion of beef which he liked very much.

This was our first visit to this excellant restaurant. The dining room was tasteful and table spacing was comfortable. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable of the daily changing menu. The food is the true star of this operation. The farm to table concept is the cornerstone with the wait staff knowing the origin of the menu ingredients. We enjoyed... More
