Market 17 is proud to be serving delicious, creative dishes that are literally from the farm right to the tables of our diners. We call this "wine country cuisine" because the emphasis is on fresh, clean food from top purveyors along with an abundant wine list. For the more adventurous diner, Market 17 offers 'dining in the dark'. It is our chefs table in a private room that allows a new way to experience food. Once your sight is turned off, all the other senses are heightened. It's a fun and unique experience to enjoy our food. (Due to limited seating, reservations for dining in the dark can be requested via open table notes but are not guaranteed. Please call 954.835.5507 to confirm dining in the dark reservation requests.) Our menu will change daily and we'll always offer amazing tasting menus for you to sample what the chef has created. Come and experience for yourself what all the buzz is about!

Good Choice

A friend and I tried Market 17 based on a suggestion by another friend. Good choice. It's a bit upscale, but the food pretty much lives up to the hype. Good beef appetizer and duck confit dinner. I also enjoyed my passion fruit and grapefruit sorbets. My friend enjoyed his fish dish and his $15... read more

Interesting, well prepared food! Tasting size portions were totally enough. Great service, I'm a pain in the neck foodie and my wife and I thought it was GREAT!

We were looking for a restaurant in Fort Lauderdale close to our hotel and happened to find this gem. Organic, local, and fresh are adjectives that don't even begin to describe it! The service was outstanding, the meal was literally one of the best I'd ever had, and the decor was amazing as well. Highly recommend even if you don't... More

Came to watch the Orange Bowl and lucked into finding a great restaurant. We had wine, appetizers, dinner and desert with coffee. Everything was great. This is a great restaurant if you don't mind the cost. Everything on the menu is fresh and from an organic farm or the sea. The house speciality seems like the charcuterie, the cheese was... More

So, we were a little concerned about a restaurant in a mall near a cruise terminal, but the reviews were good, so we went in - thank God we did! Their selection of local fish presented in inventive ways was delightful. We were tempted by the antelope (while feeling like a guilty mountain lion) and were not disappointed - on... More

I guess I expected more. I expected a meal of legend. A meal that I would write sonnets about, a meal that would haunt my dreams relentlessly, permeating my subconscious with ghosts of flavors until I had no other choice but to return to see what else I could eat to appease my trouble mind. But alas, it was not... More

On Dec 4, 2014, I was treated to a 30 year work anniversary dinner by my boss. Our team of 8 plus my wife attended. The table was ready when we arrived, but they allowed us to take advantage of the Happy Hour in the bar first to start off the evening right. The meal began with appetizers: House made... More

Market 17 is a farm to table restaurant tucked into a business strip. It's easy to find but not where we were looking! Service was excellent. One of the unique things about the restaurant is that each of their sources were listed on the menu. Our waiter had an excellent knowledge of these and provided additional insight into the source... We went to this restaurant with our daughter and son- in-law on the night before our cruise. We were really pleased with the quality and unusual ingredients of the food and the service was terrific. But the location was a little bit out of the way and required another cab ride to get us to the main part of town.

Another outstanding meal for my wife and me at his upscale restaurant. My wife ordered the Florida wahoo. I got the chicken breast. Both entrées were loaded with tasty ingredients and were simply delicious, a symphony of flavors that blended well together. We shared both dishes. For dessert we split the flourless chocolate cake. It was scrumptious. Service was excellent,... More
