This restaurant served it's last dinner at the S.E. 17th Street location on 7/13/13. They will re-open as The Grateful Palate Waterfront in the old Shooters Restaurant location in a couple of months.

First time going to this restaurant and my husband and I were not dissapointed. Everything we ordered was amazing. The conch sliders were "off the chain" , also the divers scallops omg they have sweet plantain. Delicious. We will definitely be back!

We just popped in for a drink during happy hour, and both bartenders were on top of their game. It is so nice to go out and get wonderful service, our appeitizers were very tasty, the ambience is very nice. Will be back again!

I had heard lots of good things about this place so we decided to check it out for our Anniversary dinner. We got sat at a lovely table with super comfy chairs. The service was quick and attentive and our cocktails were very good too. The food on the other hand was disappointing. I expected it to be better/more special.... More

I am a teenage boy who vacationed to Ft. Lauderdale twice within the last three months. Both times I dined at the Grateful Palate. Twice I was impressed. I ordered the hamburger both times and fell in love. The decor was very chic and modern. I visited on New Year's Eve during my first visit. Then the restaurant was decked... More

My partner and I ate at the grateful palate on a Saturday evening about 3 weeks ago. The restaurant was not very crowded, though it was a touch early (6:00 pm). I don't know why because the food was truly outstanding. The service was also quite good and the entire experience was very enjoyable. Definitely try this place for the... More

Went a few weeks ago. Food was decent, but service was poor. Went back recently. Service remained poor. Portions were very small. When we ordered a $65 bottle of wine, we were told they were out of it. Waitress tried to get us to buy a $70 bottle. We rejected that offer, and she came back, and told us she... More

Everything about this restaurant is wonderful: food, atmosphere, service, wine list! Worth every dollar! Next time I want to sit at the chef's bar, looked like fun.

Have been traveling to Fort Lauderdale on business for years and only just found this place, will definitely be back. Nice atmosphere, from the comfortable "lounge" with music at exactly the right volume, to the dining area. Food was excellent and very nicely presented. Service was friendly and efficient. Booked very easily through Open Table.
