This place is sophisticated. The restaurant advertises as Italian but menu selection suggest otherwise. You won't find chicken parmigiana here or a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs. My partner and I dined at Valentino's last weekend. We made a 6:30 reservation via Open Table. We arrived a few minutes early but were seated promptly, as there were not many other patrons present at that time. The hostess was going to seat us at a 2-top sandwiched between two other 4-tops, but she accommodated our request to move... More

We have been eating at Valentino's for years. Recently, we ate at the kitchen bar. During our meal, we chatted with the Chef and staff, enjoyed phenomenal, creative meals (a corn ravioli and faux gras to start), and excellent wine. All around, the food was great. Giovanni Rocchio is an excellent Chef and Valentino's is a superior place.

Immediately entering the upscale Fort Lauderdale Italian restaurant, we are welcomed with a smile by lovely front of the house staff and brought to our table. The ambiance is modern and eclectic yet comfortable and chic, the cuisine is thoughtfully and delicately prepared by the master chef Giovanni. We are so lucky to have this gem of a restaurant in... Excellent food. A number of unusual menu options and several excellent specials. Good service. Prices are high, but food is excellent. However, portions are small.

Good food but slow service- 80 minutes for the entrée and that's without an appetizer. Nice atmosphere, but the service spoiled the evening.

Went happily with friend recommendation, booked baby sitting and took my man on a date. The place is beautiful, great wooden beams in ceiling, reminded us of the beloved Umbria. There is busy hype and many people in the open kitchen, but it is super noisy. First starters were divine ... we took the beef tartar and burrrrrratta ...10 out... More

We dined at Valentino Cucina Italiana the other night, The style and substance which chef Giovanni brings to his dishes are spectacular. The menu always delights and subtle tastes are wonderful to experience.

Shared appetizers of burrata, octopus, and butternut squash tortellini that was fabulous. The entree was flavorful but lacking crab meat ... The reason for ordering that selection. I'd come back but order something else.
