This is a tiny hole-in-the-wall place - but it is clean and inviting. Good BBQ - decent portion sizes. I love their pie - have tried a few different ones - and am always pleased. One caution - when we were there it was cash only.

Georgia Pig is a landmark in the Davie Plantation, Ft. Lauderdale area. New owner, Luke has not changed a thing. Good solid Bar-B-Q with excellent flavor & large portions. Various home made soups change everyday and always some great choices of pies for desert. Coconut Cream is my favorite. Seems like it will be around for another 50 years. Great... More

I'm a huge fan of BBQ. I've have traveled all over the SE and the Pig is as good as any BBQ I've had. I love their BBQ sauce. I go at least a couple times a month.

Very good barbecue in a small family run diner type setting. Very old fashioned so no credit cards accepted. Orders are ring up on an antique cash register. There's an old juke box there as well and the open fire grill with brick chimney is visible accords the counter. Good pecan pie and other pies for desert.

You won't be disappointed with the barbecue at Georgia pig!!! It's under new management but still uses the more than 50-year-old recipe!! I grew up in South Florida and always make sure to stop at Georgia pig for a barbecue pork sandwich. I skip the fries and get double slaw! I definitely recommend Georgia pig!!

We discovered the Georgia Pig after looking at a Yelp review - we were nearby for a business appointment. The first good sign? It's been in business since '53. Second good sign? The place was jammed with locals for lunch, seated at the bar and at tables. We ordered sandwiches and cole slaw, and were not disappointed. I most often... More

We just got back from lunch at the Georgia Pig, a Fort Lauderdale institution near the corner of US 441 (aka SR7) and Davie Boulevard. The restaurant has new owners as the previous owners have decided to retire. To cut to the chase, all is well! The new owners have kept everything the same, as Demanded by their clientele. The... This restaurant has been a family favorite for over 40 yrs! Nothing fancy , just great good and friendly service. Don't miss the deluxe pork sandwich , our favorite! It's been there since the 50's and hopefully still be the in 2050! Phil Demers and family

I had supper here on 5-12-14. I don't usually eat large meals so I had the Deluxe BBQ Pork sandwich with FF and slaw and a Coca-Cola drink (free refills) at the counter. You can go large with the platter combos or smaller with the "Small Fry" plates. All food is available for Take-Out (.25 extra per order). The food... More

My in-laws have been eating here since it opened in 1953; my wife and I for more than 20 years when we visit. I have never had anything but the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. I used to get it with slaw and fries, but at my age I'm watching my youthful physique. I have never, ever, been unhappy with... More
