Excellent Food But Disappointing

I attended a dinner last night for over 30 people in one of the private dining rooms. Since the person I accompanied was in a wheelchair, I was surprised when I drove up to the valet area that there was a curb and I had to wheel my friend a distance to get to the ramp. Even the valet (who... read more

I have finally decided Morton ' s is slightly better than Ruth ' s Chris. It's the ambiance--not the food. I think the subdued lighting and atmosphere at Morton ' s is great. The food is divine. Bring lots of cash.

We knew that if we wanted a good steak, good service and good atmosphere that Morton's would not disappoint us. As per the usual, the staff was all fantastic. The steak -Cajun ribeye- was just as good as the first time I had it and just as I remembered it.

Our dinner was excellent , from the light chopped spinach salad to the grand finale a Lemon soufflé , this was an excellent meal. Our filet steaks were cooked perfect and when you bit into it you mentally hummed so good. Lobster tail was tender & plump and the augratain potatoes perfect side. Service was professional & Friendly timing right... More

Since is Morton's is a chain, you are always safe choosing 1 for a nice steak dinner. The one in Ft. Lauderdale is in a very popular spot and os the staff is very skilled. They make the experience great.

We heard great things about the Morton's in Fort Lauderdale, so we were more than a little surprised with the food. It's pricey, but we don't mind spending the money if you get something for it...well, the porterhouse steak was tough and a little gristly, baked potato was overdone and starting to brown on the inside, the shrimp cocktail as... My wife and I like upscale steakhouses and don't mind paying. But this place was way overpriced for a chain restaurant. It was just average food and the servers where nice but ours was just not cutout for the high end restaurant.

I'm always excited about vising what is considered "fancy restaurants" since I'm on the look out for that "perfect" spot to take my out of town frequent flyer guests. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and asked to wait to see if we could be accommodated since we did not have a reservation. This was mid week at 6 pm.... More

Power Hour is perfect before going out for the evening to enjoy a light bite with drinks !! The Bartenders/ Servers are efficient and pleasant. We had the home made chips with blue cheese, tuna tacos, both sliders and a bunch of drinks (we were are party of 5). All were served nicely, and the glass windows overlooking the streets... More

When I think of the Morton's chain, I think of a high quality (higher price) restaurant experience. I had a drink in the bar prior to dinner, but had to wait about 20 minutes - and the bar wasn't busy. There were people behind the bar, but they weren't attending to customers. Josh (I think) came back and all was... More
