Description: Our lovely South Florida Italian restaurant is set in an elegant, yet understated dining area. The aromas of freshly baked foccacia, garlic, oregano and seafood fresh from the market, waft from the kitchen where we create memorable soups, delicious seafood, chicken, pasta and veal dishes, as well as sinfully decadent desserts. Every day our chef prepares delightful specials made with only the finest ingredients and spices of the season. We are located across from the ocean on A1A in beautiful Fort Lauderdale.

Overall, the service was on point and the atmosphere was pleasant-the lasagna with veal was extremely tender and by far the best dish ordered; the chicken parm. Was good but not great; I ordered the penne alla vodka, it was insipid. I would dine here again however now having full knowledge of what to expect. Based on reviews, I have... More

I'm almost reluctant to review this restaurant for fear the word will get out and I will have to wait for a table!! I absolutely adore this little spot! Small intimate setting...GREAT Italian cuisine...engaging staff...who could ask for more! In addition they often promote through Groupon. After dining here for the third time I am convinced that the chef can't... More

The food is good--highlights were the grilled octopus and penne puttanesca which had a very concentrated sauce. Their focaccia with garlic in oil was a really nice touch. The restaurant space is small but quiet and comfortable, the wine list has some good choices, even from obscure California wineries. The highlight for us was visiting with Teddy, our waiter, who... A busy restaurant, but seemed to cater to a later crowd. We arrived at 6:30 and were the only ones in the restaurant ... but when we left, after 8:00, just about every table was filled. Food was good, prepared and served well. Portions were small for the prices which is why I give this restaurant a 3-star rating.

Enjoying a long weekend in Fort Lauderdale, we decided to find restaurants that offered dining coupons from United Airlines rewards. United allows customers to use unclaimed miles for shopping or dining rewards. Lucca off of A1A was one of these fine restaurants. And, when I say fine, I mean fine in the highest regard. The restaurant is small. However, the... More

This is a small and unassuming restaurant that delivers the best chicken parmesan south of the North End. It is consistent and reasonable. Its specials are superb and fresh. We just celebrated a dinner there with 7 friends. Everyone was super happy and will be coming back, again, as we do.

My wife and I have been to this small, romantic Italian restaurant over 10 times. We've enjoyed every meal. Be sure to look at blackboard specials as they are different and delicious. Friendly and efficient service. Food is excellent. Wine selection is very good. My favorite is the veal chop parmigiana. If you don't see it on the menu, the... More
