Nice Find

On A1A right near Oakland. Always passed it, but saw a Groupon and tried. Great appetizers, wife had special salad while I had grilled octopus. Both were excellent. As entree I had Veal Piccatta off the menu while wife had a special porcini risotto and both were very tasty and filling. Also... read more

Reservation for four on Saturday night. We had to wait a short time but that was fine. Service very slow, other tables that were seated after us were served before us. Salads were fine. Entrees arrived about 1/2 hour following salads. One entrée seemed to not be fully cooked. Everyone in my group was disappointed with the food. We arrived... More

great little restaurant. Had a groupon and welcomed it. Chicken Parmesan and pork dinners were great. Salads perfect. Desserts delic. Used to north end Boston and this comparable to any there. If you have the day water taxi pass, walk couple blocks thru shooters waterfront and take the night boat ... Picks up around 9pm

This is a small restaurant. We did not have a reservation so we sat up at the bar. The service was excellent. The staff definitely know how to treat everyone perfectly. This was a very memorable restaurant. The food was excellent. The wine was good. The desert was fantastic. We enjoyed the evening completely.

We decided to buy a half priced Groupon after reading such good reviews. You can park in front of the post office in the shopping center parking lot just north of the restaurant. If you park in front of any other "closed"business, you could get towed. Son and I ordered the chicken parm, which was a generous portion and very... More

I don't claim to be an expert on Italian cuisine, but I've had enough of it to know my way around a menu...and to determine what's good, what's average, what's terrible...and what's excellent. Lucca's is EXCELLENT. We were there on a very busy night and while the service was a bit slow, we were well tended to. There wasn't a... More

We really enjoyed everything about our dinner at Lucca. The ambience was nice (and quiet enough to have a conversation), almost all the tables were filled, our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly, and the food was delicious. The focaccia bread was served with a garlic-laced olive oil that we couldn't put down. I had chicken parmesan with a side of... More

As soon we walked in Lucca,we felt welcomed, the servers were professional and knew exactly how to make us feel at home. The food and the service was exceptional,we didn't feel pressured on any way. Our starters consisted of grilled octopus and fried calamari, and our main courses were just as great!!!! Thank you for making our evening memorable. They deserve... More

To start - the food was great and the place was quaint and adorable. Once seated, we were attended to appropriately. However, when we arrived with a reservation, no one greeted us, and no one appeared to even notice that we were there. After 5 minutes, I walked to the bar and asked if someone might be able to assist.... More
