Good service

Helpful, friendly staff and reasonable choices to be made from the menu. We could have visited just for cocktails but stayed for dinner.

Hadn't dined here in a long time. Wanted a good wholesome meal, my friend insisted.....no franchises. Server was outstanding. Bread was excellent, stuffed mushroom/appetizer were very good. We both ordered the chicken marsala...it was just "ok." Marsala sauce was tasteless with no spices or flavor; their red sauce needs flavor as well. Rating a "4" b/c our Server was outstanding.... We went there having lunch after visiting the Everglades Alligator farm. The surroundings are not that attractive but the restaurant offers great quality food and service for very reasonable prices. The buffet for $10-12 has soups, salads and fresh pasta made a la minute with fresh ingredients. On top of that because it was Wednesday the second glass of white... More

Well, place is supposed to be classical. Staff is classical, and I do not mean "neo-classical". I do not mind being served by older team, they were doing very decent job, but it became quite clear quite fast that there clientele is 90% made of locals, everyone knows everyone and these "regulars" get slightly better service. No one really pays... More

Gotta love this place. Almost 60 years in business at the same location. It is what it is - small town local restaurant, homemade salads and soups, go for the history.

Be warned...I never encountered so many problems at other restaurants.... My wife and myself encountered the following problems when going for dinner at Capri Restaurant: 1) The meat of my wife was served cold. . 2) The fish that I had ordered blackened, was not served blackened. But instead was served in a light red sauce (probably a tomato based... More

The Capri is an old fashioned restaurant with old fashioned, very bland, food, and a salad made with iceberg lettuce and your favorite topping of ranch, thousand island, or blue cheese. To us it looked like many of the patrons were locals approaching or already in God's waiting room. We now understand why people retire in Florida; you feel young... More

It was 'pasta'night...you would think that sauce and pasta would take a few minutes. ..at least,45 minutes to get our food....then another 35-45 to get our check. The people behind us said they were just going to leave some money on the table because they couldn't get their bill either. What was also disturbing was the lack of team work... More

It was an okay dinner. Our shared antipasto plate was fine, the veal picatta okay, but the veal marsala was awful, drowning in sweet soupy sauce. Otherwise, it was a pleasant restaurant with good service, but nothing like any Italian food we have had in Italy or even in New York City.
