My husband and I had lunch at the Turtle Shack on Sunday, July 6th. It was our fourth visit. This is a favorite of ours because their mussels are fantastic. My husband, a non-fish eater, loves their burgers and can rarely finish his because the portion is so generous. Another plus for me is they serve Riesling, my favorite wine.... More

I've stayed in the Flaggler area a handful of times, all at different inns or hotels. They all recommend the Turtle Shack Cafe- and they are right. Every time I've eaten here the food has been off the charts in quality, portion size and flavors. The "shack" motif is misleading this is great food. mussels, super grouper and re stuffed... More

I'm almost ashamed to say it, but I've been part of Flagler Beach for going on 5 years, and I had never been to the Turtle Shack Cafe 'till the day before yesterday. What was I thinking? This place is great! The Turtle Shack Cafe is known for their burgers and their crab cakes, but don't let that fool you... More

My husband & I didn't want to drive far - and this was within 2 miles of our rental. We wouldn't have found it without reading about it - small & doesn't look like much from the outside Would've zoomed righ on by. BUT,we had a wonderful experience - this is why we wanted the 'beach' environment (ie casual). It's... More

This is where the locals hang, and there's a good reason why. Small family owned, with great service, very fresh fish and a nice vibe. One of my brother in laws regular go to spots. I had a pan fried grouper, that was so fresh, I slowed down just to be able to enjoy it longer. Other's got some salads... More

This was our 3rd trip in the last four years. I knew the had a great wine list and great burgers but this time we ventured out. We ordered the mussels, a crab cake and the onion rings. All were delicious, the view is spectacular and the service is warm and friendly. We love to go to the local restaurants... More

For what it is, very good food. Borderline on value. Friendly and efficient waitstaff. The outside seating is too near the highway and not at all raised. Considering the driving around here it adds a spicy bit of danger to outdoor dining. I'm an intermittently regular customer, and would go more often if it were a better value.

This is a small seaside restaurant with a large heart. Great burgers, fantastic seafood, good wines and a wonderful beer selections (including Guinness on tap). It is a family owned.
