We recently stayed in Amelia Island and went to this restaurant twice! We would be regular customers if we lived on the Island. The first night we had fried green tomatoes, swordfish (stayed on my daughter's plate for about 4 minutes), fried chicken, short rib and steak special. The waiter we had both nights (David) was great and explained everything.... More

Absolutely loved this local place with an ever changing menu and a fresh garden in the back. The shrimp and grits was warm with andouille sausage and a couple of pieces of fried shrimp on top. The fried chicken was drizzled with honey and served over cracked pepper mashed potatoes. The prices were good as were the portions. Great customer... More

Went with our daughter, son in law, and Granddaughters to this lovely restaurant for brunch last Sunday. Food was great, ate outside, Service was wonderful. Prices in line for this area. Suggest anyone in the area to treat yourselves to this place. You will not go wrong.

We enjoyed our dinner here. The meal was well prepared, the ingredients fresh, and the menu interesting and varied. Prices were reasonable. The service was somewhat inconsistent, but the owner helped out and was very friendly. This is the type of local restaurant that you hope succeeds, because it is good for the patrons and the suppliers.

This restaurant supports the format of buying from the local farms and serving everything fresh. You can even see the chef's garden from the sidewalk. I had the slowly smoked, melt in your mouth ribs with fresh iron skillet cornbread [the cornbread is served on your plate in a small iron skillet]. Topping things off, I had a deliciously southern... You need to make reservations to get a table inside. The table we had was next to the door that opened every few minutes. The meal started off good with the appetizers! Then went downhill after watching my food sit in window for at least 7 minutes. Felt kind of forgot about by the server. I did mention to manager... More

This has been one of our favorite eating spots when we vacation in Amelia every year - for the past decade. We won't be back again as the quality and value of food has fallen and we experienced inattentive service. Outside seating was over run by mosquitos - how about a few citronella candles; snarky hostess (we had reservations), bread... More
