Yummy fresh lunch!

We had the fried green tomatoes which were very tasty. I had the Irish club and my husband had the falafel burger(with bacon!) Everything was very good and the waitress was very friendly.

My wife and I had some mixed feelings about this restaurant. The good - the food. The food was incredible. My wife had the pork chop and she loved it. She shared a few bites with me and it was excellent. I'm not a huge pork chop fan but the meat was tender and seasoned perfectly. I had the fried... More

One of my top ten go to restaurants. I love the appetizers, sandwiches, salads and entrees. The wine list is awesome! Great for a date night--however the kids love the fried chicken it has honey on it--local honey at that!!!!

Delicious Southern cooking! Love the fried chicken and smashed potatoes. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits. Popular restaurant, lots of locals which is always a good sign!

We had a great dinner here at the conclusion of restaurant week 2016. Great shrimp and grits and the honey fried chicken was juicy and flavorful. They prepare what may be the best brussels sprouts ever, maybe not healthy, but very yummy. Try the daily crust of bread appetizer. It was a real treat with greens, cheese and an over... More

We were strolling past 29 South this afternoon, and decided to take a look at the menu. A couple that was dining outside, commented that we would not be disappointed with the food. We decided to try the restaurant for lunch and were very satisfied with the food, atmosphere and service. The menu was very interesting, which made it difficult... More

It was a dark and stormy night... but the yummy comfort food at this cool American bistro made it worth going out. The fried green tomatoes with the red pepper jam relish were delicious. The fried chicken was moist inside with a crunchy, thick coating served with local honey was perfect. The shrimp in the shrimp and grits dish was... More

29 South is our "go to" restaurant when we have out of town guests. We love the nostalgic Southern setting, the interesting (always delicious) menu, and the fact that they source products from their own garden as well as from local farmers. Our guests this time were from Evergreen, Colorado and had never tasted "Shrimp and Grits". 29 South does... More

Was my 60th birthday, I just wanted something low key, quaint and cozy. We were the first ones there when they opened at 11:30 for lunch, they let us pick our tables and set it up quickly for 5 adults and a baby. Although no children's items were on the menu, they were happy to offer up several selections they... More

We come here often and love it! The building itself and the location are quaint. In the summer we love the outdoor seating but this time of year the inside is also great. The food is the best in town and although the wine list keeps getting disappointingly smaller each time, even it has a few gems!
