Fresh, creative, healthy and tasty!

I loved our meal here. The ambiance is relaxed, but a little bit upscale. I love that they use local suppliers and growers. Our server, Brian, spent a lot of time helping me choose just the right beer. He was knowledgable and pleasant.

On a recent family vacation, we took my husband to lunch here for Father's Day. An eclectic little place, the menu had some fun items! We tried the lobster corn dogs, a fun variation! We enjoyed the food and the service was good. The Krispy Creme bread pudding dessert sounded awesome but was average.

Rustic, eclectic, and New Age staff-but excellent service and inventive menu. lunch for four and all had differnrt items. All rated their meal very good except me. Mine was outstanding. Best corned beef I have had (and I've had a lot). We always stop here for lunch when in the area.

Crab cake had no flavor, lobster corn dog not impressive. The service was okay. Prices were a bit high. We did enjoy the clams.

Our second visit to 29 South. Absolutely excellent food and service. Scallops were beyond expectations and the off-menu trigger fish was excellent. One if he best places to eat.

We ate here after a friend recommended it and told us about the sweet tea brined pork chop with mac and cheese. Our friend recommended we also make reservations and we are glad we did - this helped ensure we were able to sit inside instead of out on the porch (we're not big fans of sitting outside in the... This menu is extremely unique and I commend them for taking risks. However, not all of them work well. They had bbq pork eggs rolls that were amazing, but the fried green tomatoes blt was less successful. I highly recommend for eaters looking for something unique.

Excellent farm to table cuisine. Lots of fresh items and daily specials. Good wine list. The servers are knowledgeable and attentive without being obtrusive. The desserts are worth the calories. Maybe a little more expensive than I thought it would be.

Forget the calories, forget the diet, just bring your taste buds, as this was one of the most unique and super yummy deserts I have ever had. The "Coffee and Doughnuts" it is a Glazed Doughnut Bread Pudding with Butterscotch Drizzle and Mocha Ice Cream is amazing. Why not just come for the desert, you will not be disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The food was fresh, nicely presented and tasted wonderful. My husband had the fried chicken, one of their signature dishes and I had a shrimp and pasta dish that was excellent. We enjoyed the outdoor ambience and with the good service and great food, it was a most delightful dining experience. One of... More
