Great food. Continental menu with a southern twist, such as bar b q pork salad and fried green tomatoes. Also great seafood dishes. Inside and outside seating.

I went here thinking that this was potentially underrated and that this was going to be a knockout "farm to table" experience. Maybe it was my high expectations, but I wasn't blown away. To be fair, this is better than average; I'd say good. Service, while friendly, was kind of slow and disinterested (and I like laid back). We sat... More

We saw this place from down the street and looked fun with the outside porch seating. We were wrong as we walked inside to wait for anyone to greet and nothing. Few minutes later, from behind a black curtain, a person in causal clothes ask if we have a reservation? We replied we did not and would be happy to... More

We visited during the Concours weekend, which is admittedly busy, but this visit would never inspire us to go back! The service was almost non-existent, food so-so and , at least inside, very loud. It obviously can be good, based upon reviews, but there are so many other great choices in town, I would stick w one that is more... More

This is a charming ole house that has great food and a delightful staff of servers - lunch or dinner! That's the GOOD. The BAD is the condition of the porch and outside seating. It's dirty, has a resident cat that I found annoying! The UGLY is the exterior clear roof which leaks so much that I had large blops... More

Enjoyed view of the sunset while we ate outside on the porch of a Victorian period home. Waitress was especially friendly and prompt. Food was the best we had in Fernadina over the week we were there. On a side street from main street, short walk to Hampton Inn or the harbor.

Made a special trip to Amelia Island to try this restaurant by Chief Scott Schwartz. The food is awesome! Had great service and enjoyed the atmosphere. Came during spring break with two 11 year old boys and they enjoyed the food too. My son said his mouth says the Chief is a genius! We had several appetizers, salads and entrees.... More

First we were seated outdoors and waited for 10 minutes with no one ever coming to the table to help....2 waiters walked right by us. We then requested indoor seating and once again had to wait for a waitress. In the 75 minutes inthe restaurant, the bulk of our time was spent waiting-- we even waited 10 minutes to pay... More

Freshest salad, right from the garden, will spoil you for anything less. Flavor fireworks happen when ingredients are this fresh and served with thought for combinations. We were turned away twice but persevered. Worth the trouble to get a table. Porch seating was oh-so-pleasant on a February afternoon. We'll be back and this is our Fernandina Fave!

The food, service and quality were excellent. My wife had the pork chop, which was obtained from local farmers, and it was the most tender pork chop ever. It's flavor was superb and it melted in your mouth. If you go there make reservations for the sitting on the porch, which was excellent. Not a place for children, since the... More
