My daughter & I stopped in for some scallops. The blackened scallops basket had a good portion of them. They were large, but not the huge ones. Cooked and seasoned very well. The sides were good. It was priced right; not high like I saw on posted menus in town. My son wanted a small burger which they don't have.... More

Took our son and his family to dinner here on July 15th. They were surprised by the amount of food for the price and it was very good. From gator tail to boiled shrimp to fried grouper, everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. One of the best seafood deals on the island.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shrimp dinners were great, however the cold slaw was not so good. We will be back July 22, 2014.

We had deviled crab and catfish. Food was hot and fresh and not overly priced like some other restaurants on the island.

Went last night to eat 07/08/2014. Waitresses extremely busy and cashier too busy to seat me although there were tables empty but dirty. Got seated after about 15 minutes. Got waited on in an acceptable time but when food arrived after a rather long wait cheese grits were luke warm. Told one waitress coming by and heard her tell other... More

First, the pros: excellent, fresh, well-made seafood. Nothing fancy, just tasty food, and lots of it, at a great price. Cons: service can be slow, especially on the weekends. We waited over an hour for our food on a Friday night. I wouldn't recommend taking kids there on those busy nights. Not much decor to speak of.

Out of ten years or more of eating a Cedar River this was the most disappointing. Service was terrible and it wasn't even busy .. We sat there for ten minutes before a server came by and then she said there was a mix up on who was going to wait on our table...She brought our drinks and took our... More

Not an impressive building, but the food was delish, and the service was great too! Highly recommend if you want a great value!

We came in for a late lunch and were very pleased with the food, which came in large portions and tasted good. The pollack and cod were excellent, although I wasn't so crazy about my son's tilapia which was a bit on the fishy side. My wife's blackened grouper was very well done too. The restaurant was a bit on... More

My husband, daughter, & I ate there yesterday. Though the service was great, we weren't super impressed with the food. It's mediocre at best & was a bit more expensive than we thought it should've been. We all ordered from the lunch menu and our bill totaled over $40!
