Don't let the exterior fool you. Cedar River has great seafood, it's consistently good, and the service is always very good, too. We eat here almost every time we visit Fernandina Beach. The seafood platters are enough for 2-3 people. Get there early on weekends to avoid a long wait. One complaint - bottled water would be a great addition... more

If you like fresh, local shrimp fried in a light coating head to Cedar River. Their seafood is always good and their prices are reasonable. Exactly what I would expect from a local favorite. more

The entire time the waitresses stood in the doorway to the kitchen area talking to a male (assumed to be an employee) in surfer shorts and an undershirt. Steaks are horrible. All fat and grisel..could not eat it...waitress stated that this was the 3rd steak that night that had to be sent back. If they knew it was that bad, they should have quit serving them. The fried shrimp were good. Go to a steakhouse if you want a good steak. more

this resturant is great! my friends and i go here all the time for special occasions! the fried oysters and flounder is delicous! i would reccomend this resturant to anyone that wants Excellent sea food! more

While this is part of a local chain of seafood restaurants in Florida, the service at this Sadler Road location is exceptional and the food fresh and delicious. You can't beat the price when traveling with or without family. We ate there twice while vacationing there in 2001 and it was the first place we went to when we returned... more
