Finally had the opportunity to stop by this place after living here for months! So very glad we did! Ordered the biscuits and gravy. Yummy. So creamy and the biscuits were fantastic! Hubby got the T Ray Breakfast of eggs, bacon, & pancakes. Those pancakes were delicious, and so was their bacon. Sat at the bar on stools near where... More

This place is awesome. Family run, reasonably priced, and where the locals hang out. I had a burger (I couldn't not) and it was one of the best I've had in ages. My other half amused himself playing a real Ms Packman arcade game - I haven't seen one of those in a while, and still only a quarter. I... More

Popped in here for breakfast and had trouble finding parking it was so crowded. That doesn't deter us as we figured this many people at an old gas station for breakfast, it must be great. Well it was. They move fast and the locals seem to know to eat and then go talk some place else so others can get... More

Sorry to say, the Fried Fish Sandwich is terrible raw and gross for lack of a better word. Husband would not send it back because he would have been embarrassed. Oh Well. We will not be going back. Tasted like boxed onion rings. Place looks dirty to me. Dirty Dishes over spilling at the trash. Empty drink cans outside. Everyone... More

The first challenge is finding T-Rays; at the corner of 8th Street and Beech Street. Your only clue is a jammed parking lot and a building with no name and a picture of a burger above the front door. The inside is pure 50s burger heaven. Delicious juicy burgers with all the fixings and great fries. Haven't tried their daily... More

I try to stop in every time I'm in town. I love the burgers and I usually run into someone I know. If you want to eat where the locals eat, this is one of those places.

T-Rays was like the restaurants I used to go to as a child, small but quaint. The food was good but not anything special. I would recommend the fried shrimp, you must get there early the locals love it, and the line forms FAST!!!

We were told that T-Ray burgers were the best, so we just had to try one. T-Rays is an old gas station that now only serves food in a comfortable, relaxed setting. The burger I had was good, but not the best I ever had. My wife had the fried shrimp which she liked. The prices are fair and the... More

Great local joint! We are here twice on our recent visit to the island, once for breakfast and once for lunch. For lunch our group had burgers, grilled cheese and the crab burger. Everyone was happy with their meals. The fries - the steak type - were awesome! For breakfast we had biscuits and sausage gravy, the scrambler and a... More

The daily plate is an exceptional value! The burgers are huge, served piping hot. Hometown atmosphere, it's an old gas station, so nothing fancy about it....but I'll be back for sure!
