The decor is plain and simple...a former gas station...but the burgers (served anyway you wish) are definitely not plain! The onion rings, Cole slaw and fries were perfect, as well. Very friendly staff, too. I've heard they have a great breakfast, so I really need to go back.

Some of the south's finest comfort food. A unique place to eat, a converted gas station. Do not miss a chance to eat at T-Rays, a family run restaurant. I only wish I lived on the island, I would eat at T-Rays almost every day. Check the menu and see for yourself.

T-Rays is one of those local eateries that lets its food speak for itself. The only hint that delicious, plentiful, and inexpensive Southern cooking is served are the many cars packing the parking lot every minute of every day they are open. I always have their delicious cheeseburger, while she always has their locally caught shrimp fried to perfection. There... More

Yes, it is local and yes it is funky and we had high hopes for a really great burger but it simply was not the case. The problem is that the burgers are pre-cooked and held in a pan by the grill. When you order, they put your pre-cooked burger on the grill and cover it to reheat. The result... More

T-rays is an experience for sure! Locals all over recommend it and it's obvious it's not a tourist trap. We had the Big-T burgers which were hand made patties cooked and seasoned to perfection, with lots of juice dripping when you eat them. The french fries are hot and thick cut. Price was perfect. Fun place!

I don't think this place even has a sign? Definitely where the locals go. Awesome place in an old gas station. Be prepared to wait in line, but it's worth the wait. My favorite burgers and fries! And at a great price! Order at the counter - no fancy service here. But hey, you're eating in a remodeled gas station!

Best grits ever! Had the little breakfast with sausage egg grits. Quick service, friendly staff and guests. Sometimes when busy you can invite other to join you at empty seats at your table and meet very interesting locals. Lunch on Friday's great local fresh shrimp. Can't beat the prices.

Excellent! Wonderful burgers & shakes! I was impressed with the fact that each burger is made to order, so was able to get my burger well-done, but not burned! We are never disappointed! If you are in the area and want a burger and fried, try T-Rays. Dog-Friendly, too. Outside seating available.

Visited for breakfast while visiting family and everything we had was delicious! We sat outside at the picnic table and feasted on the large portions they brought. Would definitely return!
