My wife and I ate the fabulous shrimp here again on Friday, 03/07/2014. Same great quality as always. We returned around noon on Saturday, 03/08/2014 and found the place almost deserted. As we walked up to the front door, we learned that Big Ray Mullins had just passed away. Sic transit gloria mundi! Rest in peace, Ray.

My best friend lives in Fernandina, and it's the only place she'll go for breakfast. Get there early - especially on football weekends - because the line will be out the door, and the chairs are hard to come by. Everything is good. Hope you don't get that awful Bulldog plate!

For hamburgers and fried food this is the best of its kind. We got up at 3:00 am to drive down from NC for the chicken &dumplings. We got there about 12:30 and they were already sold out!! I got the grouper instead and it was excellent. And real grouper to boot!! Some food establishments will say grouper, but often... More

I was curious to see if T-Rays lived up to all the great reviews. Simple answer: absolutely. The shrimp po'boy I had was loaded with crispy fried shrimp and my husband's Philly cheese steak was equally large and delicious. He even commented that the coleslaw was just like his German grandmother used to make - that's high praise. We are... More

This is one of them hole in the wall kind of places. It was an old gas station turned into a burger joint. You go up to the counter and order and then find a table. They will call your name when order is ready and then they bring it to you. The hamburger tasted so fresh and juicy. They... More

Arrived to see "closed" sign had just gone on the door but they were kind enough to let us in as their last customers ... we'll worth the stop ... loved the interior.

Great little place with loads of food. Biscuits, sausages, gravy, omelette, hash browns - all the good breakfast options. Worth a meal just to have that experience.

We love going here. Always good and fresh food. Hamburgers are freshly hand patted. Foot long hotdog was very big, my daughter were able to split one. Great LOCALLY OWNED family friendly place.

Our first time at T-Rays and we were very pleased. The service was efficient and very friendly. Felt like we were regulars. Seafood gumbo was great and the burgers were wonderfully done with fresh toppings and tasty thick steak fries. And unlimited drinks. The ambiance is rustic for sure and it is likely you will drive right by the place... More

I've had both breakfast and lunch here and it's always good. Food is prepared fresh and portions are plentiful. I have family in central Florida who come to Fernandina often-they always make time to eat at T-Ray's as well. By the way, the hash browns are sooo delicious!
