A Gem; don't miss it

There is something very special about Le Clos. Maybe it's the staff, perhaps the food which is incredible. The ambience is a bit noisy but welcoming and vibrant. I've lived in many wonderful cities that brag about their restaurants but have never found any as good as Le Clos.

Charming French place, with excellent food, great bread. A good selection of wines and presentation.... tops! Cozy and lovely, a must when you are in Amelia Island.

Old folks know their stuff!! Man this place was GREAT!! When we walked in I was like, man there's a lot of old people in here, but once we were seated I realized it was a great place for service, wine, food and desserts! The creme brulee was out of this world!! I would go back to this place for... More

We had the great pleasure of dining at Le Clos for my son's 15th birthday. We were a party of 8 and had a nice table in the alcove just off the main room. Are server Kathi and her assistant Ali were excellent and helpful with our many questions as it was the first time dining at Le Clos for... More

Great food, great wines, what's not to like? This small restaurant in an old house is probably the best in the area.

Our server knew the menu very well and made recommendations as she noticed that we were primarily asking about seafood dishes. Service was efficient and paced so that we had time to enjoy each course before the next one arrived. We shared a salad and each plate was artfully presented as well as fresh and tasty. The goat cheese accompaniment... More

I would explain our overall experience as good; food was good, service was good! Nothing outstanding for the price you pay but still an enjoyable meal. Space is small and intimate so a booking is essential.

This is a special restaurant for a special occasion. It is a small unique place were the food is also special. The fish is purchased daily and many times locally caught that day. The special changes depending on the catch. The wine list is good and the menu offers a good variety of choices without being overbearing. I would have... More

We had a delicious dinner here during Restaurant Week. It is a tiny place that can fill the house, so make a reservation if you want to go. Our mushroom soup was earthy and creamy. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the desert was so delicious. We cleaned our plates on every course. This restaurant is very French, and we... More

Cutest little French bistro a waitress Julie is always fantastic!! Even though we dine there whenever we are in town she always details the menu specifically to our likes and interests !! It was restaurant week so my husband or did the restaurant week special with the salad dressed in cider vinegar I kidnapped it because it was so delicious... More
