My family and I voted, Happy Tomato Cafe was the best lunch we had while on vacation. I had the chicken salad sandwich, which was by far the best chicken salad I've ever had. The kids had a ham sandwich and the blt. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was tip-top. more

Read on reviews how good this place was. Not disappointed at all. Wife and I ate lunch on way to Savannah and had trio salad(pimento,tuna,chicken) on bed of greens. Perfect. We loved eating at the Happy Tomato. They have some reasonably priced food, and we loved the character of the place. I'd recommend one of the salads or BBQ. This is definitely a place worth visiting if you are on Amelia island more

Good sandwiches and salads. My wife had the trio salad and I had the pulled pork sandwich. Both were very good. Nice interior patio for enjoying the great weather on Amelia Island. more

While in line to place our order a local gave us some recommendations: the pulled pork sandwich with the triple sauces and the tuna fish salad sandwich. We took his advise and both were excellent choices. Also, be sure to buy one of the homemade cookies made by the owner's wife. more
