Good home cooking!

We enjoyed dinner here last evening and lunch again today. They have good early bird specials which we had crab cakes that included 3 sides, hush puppies and corn bread. More food than we could eat! For lunch, I had sauted shrimp salad. Delicious. Also tried their Banana pudding and Key lime... read more

The Marina Restaurant was highly recommended for its shrimp, sourced locally like most places in Fernandina. As such, we both tried the shrimp burger for lunch--whole shrimp formed into a patty, breaded and fried. While good, I wish we had tried other shrimp choices to get a better sense of the food. Service was very friendly although a bit stretched... More

We were looking for just a nice place after a long day on a boat. Read mixed reviews, but it was recommended by a local resident we had talked to. Not a fancy place, but our service was timely and we thought the food was good. After re-reading some of the previous reviews I suspect that reviewers might have been... More

Tight tour schedule for lunch so stopped at first available. Clam chowder good. Chicken sandwich barely edible. Worst part was employes using carpet sweeper next to table while awaititing our food! Trailer park environment and hostess/cashier. Walk further up the street if in town!

It was one of the worst places we ate where there are many good restaurants and better choices. The owner is loud and extremely rude. My husband and I asked to be seated before the crowd from the boat tour arrived. The owner was extremely rude and loud. We came after a boat tour where it was recommended. We got... More

Service is slow, the menu limited. If you like old style fried seafood, chicken and okra, then this is the place for you. My wife ordered all white meat chicken, so they bring her one chicken breast and two wings. Won't be going back there.

The fish was fresh and could be cooked in a number of select ways. My wife really enjoyed the Shrimp Peeler's - she said they were the best she has had. Overall would return.

Service was awful. Took over an hour to get our food, which I wouldn't complain about if the waitress had come to our table to refill our drinks or see if we needed anything while waiting. I ordered the chicken fried steak which ended up being burnt. Wouldn't recommend. Sorry Marina.

This is an old fashioned fried food restaurant. If you understand that and order accordingly you will not be disappointed. Don't expect healthy alternatives. The menu even says, if you want broiled or sauteed food, allow an extra 30 minutes. Pay at the register and if you use a credit card, be prepared to leave a tip in cash, according... More
