Local, Delicious Fresh Fish, Southern Cooking, Happy Atmosphere

During a 2 week vacation stay we've eaten here 3 times and may do one more. It's a local spot, with many locals there along with some tourists. Authentic, not a tourist trap, with good, very fresh fish and other dishes. Friendly efficient staff--you feel a part of the town in this family-owned... read more

We were new to the area at the time and figured we would try a downtown local spot. The food was worse than sub par and the service an afterqthought. I don' t think they would have survived except for location and unsuspecting open minded customers. Like a bad diner So many good choices downtown thta you can easily skip... More

We visited Marina in December 2015 and it was wonderful. We were back to Amelia in January and had both our birthday dinners there. Broiled platter for my birthday and soft-shell crab for his. Both meals, one on Saturday night and one the following Wednesday night, were FABULOUS. So fresh. So delicious.

Good food...not great, but setting is one for history buffs. Although trains come by frequently with shipping containers in tow, they only add to the nautical location.

We had delicious dinners. Seafood platter and fried oysters platter. The waitress was really nice. Really friendly staff. I loved the crab dip served before our meal, complimentary. Two sides offered. I had sweet potato and a fresh salad. Excellent time. No complaints at all. A must visit! The coffee was good. I had decaf and the waitress made sure... More

The best seafood, I have ate in a long time. My husband and I shared the seafood platter, grouper, shrimp, clam strips and crab cakes. Very lightly breaded food, the fresh seafood was awesome. Patricia the owner is so friendly and nice. Please visit this seafood restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

They do have a wide varied menu here. I love their chicken ! They have the Southern Charm where you have more on your plate than you can eat !

Paula and I stopped here for dinner. We were headed for another restaurant that our GPS couldn't find. We ended up parking and walking through this quaint little town and ended here. I personally think it was the sandwich board with the dinner for two outside that sold me. We walked in the door and stepped back into a 1950s... More

Since our first choice for lunch was closed for the holidays, we opted for convenience and no crowds at The Marina Restaurant. We chose the seafood platter for two which was advertised as a lunch special. The shrimp and oysters were good, the so called grouper seemed like cod, the clam strips were tough and the crab cakes were definitely... More
