If anyone recommends going to this restaurant, don't go. The seafood seems like it was frozen. Barbie-sized seafood graced the broiled crab, scallop, and shrimp dinner. It was $23. This restaurant should be ashamed. We also tried two different fish entrees. It tasted like fish served on an airline. I think they realize that as they smothered it in sauce.... more

Extremely nice server, but equally poor food. Either greasy deep fried, or soaked in simple syrup....and all very pricey. NOT worth it. I shudder to think of the money wasted here. more

We have eaten there several times. Fish and shrimp okay for the money. Steak tough, too tough to eat. Said it was rib-eye and it was strip steak. Deducted $ off the bill. Dont think I will reture more

I was in the Amelia Island area on a recent Staurday evening and looking for a good seefood dinner and the Marina Seafood Restaurant was recommended. I was a little concerned upon walking in, as the decor was a little dated, but encouraged by all of the awards on the wall for best food, restaurant, etc. After I was seated... more

Marina brochure mentions its five star heritage, but don't expect that. Frankly, the place could use a good scrubbing. The floor and walls are dark, which hides the stains and dust. The food is tasty, but mostly fried or loaded with butter and oil. Fernandina Beach has lots of terrific eateries. This isn't one of them. more

We dined based on advice about their southern fried chicken. It was excellent. The seafood platter was a mixed bag; the grouper was among the best I have had, the mussels were dry and rubbery. The coconut cream pie is to die for. more

The service is always impeccable. Wait staff is attentive, facilities clean, meals are gracious plenty food for any appetite other than the outrageous. Daily lunches include fresh cooked vegetables, various entrees and bottomless glasses of whatever non-alcoholic beverage you choose. Prices are reasonable and anyone that isn't satisfied has either attended with an attitude or expectations of something other than... more

We walked around the historic area trying to find somewhere to eat dinner before choosing the Marina Restaurant. It was hard finding somewhere that fit the bill for our family - not too expensive, no long wait, kid's meal, etc. The Marina Restaurant seemed to fit the bill. Unfortunatly, when I went to sit down I noticed that all the... more

Presentation: 2 out of 5 It is a very nicely decorated resteraunt with a nice a hometown feel too it. But the furniture is cheap and it's extremly cramped. The food is presented too you on extremly small plates to make it look like there is more than there actually is, this makes it extremly hard to cut chicken off... more
