Can't beat the location...on the waterfront. Awesome. Wife and I just had appetizers. She had a half pound of steamed spiced shrimp for $10, loved them. I had the Cafe Chips for $9 which were friggin outstanding. Homemade potato chips with pulled pork and melted cheese on them. A huge portion and really really good. If you don't love these,... More

Brett's is located on the Amelia River on the west end of downtown Fernandina Beach, meaning there are beautiful sunsets. The menu has a large variety to meals...seafood, salads, steaks and on and on. There is a bar area in the middle of the restaurant. This prices are above average, but the food and service is usually excellent.

We sat here outside on the deck one evening to watch the sunset and have a drink. It could not have been more beautiful. The people was friendly and the atmosphere very relaxing. Would love to come here again and try the food.

My party of 4 ate there recently, and all were disappointed. With tip, our bill came to $205. We had each had 2 drinks. The service was very good. They bring a basket of biscuits and butter, which were very good. We started with fried green tomatoes, which were fresh and good. Otherwise, we ordered: grouper special, scallops with pork... More

Our food was very good, for the most part. I ordered a mixed drink, a salad and a main entree. The drink and the salad were very good. However, they brought the wrong entree -- in fact, brought two wrong entrees to our table. Therefore, my salmon was last to arrive and when it did, it was undercooked. I'm sure... More

Recently had lunch at Brett's and was pleased to reaffirm the tasty food, very efficient service and wonderful water views from the patio deck. It was another nice visit, which I've come to expect when dining at Brett's. Our waitress was very friendly and responded with good advice as to her recommendations when asked. A relaxing, unrushed, convivial time which... More

At the end of Center Street on the waterfront is a beautiful place to have a grown up meal with excellent service and great service. We hadn't planned on where we would eat, but tried Brett's because of the location. We were seated quickly and our waitress was prompt and friendly. I tried the shrimp and grits and they were... Always enjoy drinks and watching the sunset here. Drinks are very good and unique appetizers like pimento cheese and crackers. Good variety on the menu, food is good but not excellent. I believe they used to pay a little more attention to detail with their food a few years ago, may be a little complacent.

We had been to the docks and saw this restaurant a year ago on a previous trip but we had already had a feast of manger treats at the nearby Residence Inn!! But we planned to try this restaurant on another trip. So we did stop on a recent trip. The food was good, the service was good and I'd... More

My wife and I stopped at Amelia Island to look around toward future a vacation. Brett's was at the marina with outdoor seating overlooking the boats and the waterway. Food was excellent and service was friendly and efficient. We would definitely stop on our future visits.
