We were in Amelia Island for a short vacation and luck was with us as it was Restaurant Week. My husband and I ate at Joe's 2nd Street Bistro and were absolutely delighted. IThe food was fabulous and the service was perfect. They have a great selection of food and the quality is off the charts. The couple that own... More

Went back after a two plus year absence to find the interior redecorated (for the better), excellent food and attentive service. My wife had the bacon-wrapped filet and she reported it as wonderful/perfect.....she is not much of a steak person so this is high praise. I had the grilled salmon on the "restaurant week" menu along with a salad and... More

had chicken sandwich with mozzarella and salmon BLT. Both were amazing. My only complaint is that we didn't know the sandwiches come with fries and I don't eat fries. I would have substituted if I would have known that.

I had dinner here last night with family. My meal was shrimp over grits. It sounded strange but my brother told me he had it and liked it. What a surprise. I was excellent. Another brother and sister in law had the duck and both said it was excellent. The service could not have been better. The server was not... More

We had a lovely final lunch here on our way out of town. They have a simple and fresh decor, with a french blue ceiling and napkins. I had a encrusted trout and it was so delicious. My husband had the salmon BLT and it was also very good. They serve home made ketchup which was spicy but super good.... More

I had high expectations given how hard is was to get a reservation. Luckily someone cancelled so my GF and I were able to get in. The hostess was pleasant and personable, as was Mary the owner. The wanton appetizer was very flavorful. The bread service was great. The bread had a very unique flavor and texture, served with an... More

There was a snafu in our reservation last night thru no fault of theirs. The hostess said she would work it out to get us a table. We were seated immediately and enjoyed a delightful evening with good food, excellent service and just enough attention, we were even more pleased after seeing how popular this place is and they are... Went there not knowing it was Restaurant Week and very busy. We chose to order from the menu rather than the prix fixe. Tuna martini & Amelia clams appetizer forgettable, but the entrees were outstanding. My wife had the duck and I the rack of lamb. Superbly cooked and flavored and a bit more than we could eat. Service great... More

We have visited this place now on 4 separate occasions, absolutely one of the best places on the island. You have owners who are engaged and care and the food is outstanding. Everyone who has the shrimp and grits raves about how good it is. I have had the steak on 2 occassions and really enjoyed it. The wine selection... More

Restaurant Week on Amelia Island. This was one of the higher rated establishments to participate. Many participants had low T.A. ratings. The deal was $29.00 per person for a choice of an appetizer, entree and desert. Selections were limited. Did not matter. Three meals, all excellent, for three seasoned travelers used to good food. Good wine list, too, though not... More
