I agree with the other reviewer. We ate here and it was ok, but not great. I would not eat here with all of the other choices on the island. more

I have to agree that this venerable location in Fernandina has slipped recently. Yes they can still take care of a group of 10 or more, but they seem to be struggling with dealing with a table of two. Sometimes success with a certain market share comes at a cost for another. Search far enough back and you will find... more

Another dinner at Beech Street and it was fabulous. Not sure if the other reviewers were there on bad nights, but we've yet to have a bad experience here. They were very accomodating with getting us a quiet romantic table for two. Service was great and the food outstanding..creole shrimp & grits, salmon with risotto, scallops cooked perfectly. It is... more

I took the family to Amelia Island for a 4 day weekend, just returned home today. We were looking for a nice, upscale restaurant for Saturday night and found this one. There were 10 of us, 9 adults and one child (2 years old). A crowd like that can be difficult for the staff, they took it in stride. Most... more

Was tied up at the docks and walked to this restaurant in the heart of Fern Beach. I had the Grouper which was awesome. I had a great salad and perhaps the best was the Gumbo stew. more

We ordered the scallops and they were served undercooked. I did not want to get a food borne illness so I sent them back. After twenty minutes, the same scallops were served to me again except they were cut up in small pieces. I told this to the waittress and she agreed that the chef sometimes is tempermental and so... more

Respectfully have to disagree with some of the more 'positive' posts...To be fair, the food is ok but not even close to memorable. We had to send over-cooked tuna appetizer back to be prepared appropriately. Ordered drinks were never delivered to our table. Our waiter was absent. Service/management is the problem - slow and under-staffed. Unfortunately this is the typical... more

This is quite possibly the most reasonably priced meal I have ever eaten in a beach town! The food, service, and atmosphere were perfect. I went for Sunday Brunch. My waitress was excellent. The Key Lime pie is a must! more

My boyfriend and I went to the Beech St Grill for Valentine's Day. They accomadated us earlier than our reservation and didn't have a crazy high priced set menu. It was the regular menu with specials which we really appreciated. I had the Mahi Mahi and he had the crab stuffed shrimp! It was fabulous and the service was super... more
