Moon River is great! The pizza is awesome and cheap - they make everything, dough, pesto, sauce, from scratch. Plus, in Fernandina Beach there aren't many places to go with a young, funky atmosphere. We have eaten at Moon River several times and it is GOOD pizza ... but anything more than three stars is ridiculous. I liked the pizza at Moon RIver. We went twice on our trip. The first time we ate inside and the second time we took it to go. It is cash only. We just got pepperoni the first time and I think sausage, onion and green pepper the next time. The large is huge. I could barely eat 2 slices. more

What a deal - a lunch special from 12-2. Two slices of a one topping pizza with a beverage for $5.00. The slices are huge and it's terrific pizza. The Italian sausage is actually slices not hunks of ground meat. It's absolutely wonderful. Forget the other pizza places, go to Moon River!!! more
