The place is Closed! Building is bare! Sign is gone. Thought it was good, but pricy. Sorry it couldn't make it.

We visited here during an event weekend in March, and the place was jumping, as we expected. We'd heard some good reports on the restaurant from the previous year and we were eager to try it. Basically, we had a very poor service experience, which overshadowed the quality of the food. Although we made reservations, it took a long time... More

We own vacation property in Fernandina and have eaten at most of the restaurants in town. I had heard about Don Quixote's, but had not checked it out. My confusion was it is basically the same building at Pepper's, a Mexican restaurant (same owners I found out). It is technically next door, but unless you're looking specifically for it, it... More

Excellent, semi-formal dining with table cloths. The food is Spanish and European NOT Texmex. Excellent food and nice atmosphere. Prices are moderate for a great meal. Definitely a restaurant to repeat.

When I went with my family the food was good, but the waiter we had ruined my experience. His hands were covered in worts and he dropped the caprese salad on the ground and the balsamic dressing ended up staining my mother's sweater. We didn't realize it got stained until that night when we got back to our condo because... More

Consistent service, however the food was just average and overpriced....Seems like they are trying to be Upscale Spanish however the menu and tapas are lacking in creativity and variety....Not bad, just not great and probably wouldn't back....Decent wine selection but no full bar and very limited beer choices....

We wanted a nice meal out tonight and made our way downtown to Don Quixote's. The menu was full of delicious choices. They have a traditional menu on one side and a tapas menu on the other side. We chose the traditional menu and had delicious meals. My husband had shrimp sauteed with mushrooms in coconut sauce. I had the... More

My husband and I started out with excellent Sangria with lots of fruit, then added 3 Tapas. We ordered the shrimp with a delicious garlic sauce that was great for sopping with the excellent bread; the sirloin steak w/blue cheese sauce; then a scallop dish with a nice kick to it and very tasty. We were disappointed that cappachino nor... More

The current owners are liars and cheats and stole the vision of this restaurant from the great guys they said they were going in business with. The visioners have left along with most of the original staff. The family that call themselves the creators of this once outstanding restaurant stole the dream and claim its theirs but can't hold a... More

Less than average food and service at an expensive price. We waited over 45 minutes for a table for four although there were many empty tables. I will not return.
