Worth a Visit but Tough to Find

I came to Shucker's with a group of friends on the night of the Florida/Georgia game. The crowd was bit sparse, but filled in as the night progressed. Fans from the game and families all gathered here. While I wouldn't call Shucker's a family restaurant, it is a place you can bring your... read more

We went to Shuckers on a recommendation from one of my husband's business contacts who owns a home at Amelia. During our visit, our server frequently used the phrase, "Just so you know". Since it became such a theme during our experience, I decided to theme this review as well. Just so you know, it is hard to find. It... More

we sought out shuckers based on some of the recommendations here. We ended up being disappointed and shall not return. The food wasn't bad in fact the fried grouper was very well done and tasty. the place is mostly a bar and serves bar food. However it is served in a very basic style meaning if you expect lemons or... More

Tucked behind a Gas Station, you can easily miss Shucker's Oyster Bar & that would be a shame. Went with my family for a seafood dinner. The Raw oysters on the 1/2 shell were fresh and cold. A bit of broken shell in a few of them but otherwise they were delicious. Fried Gator was tasty but the pieces were... More

This is an informal restaurant with super friendly staff. My wife had the fried oysters and said they were the best she's ever had. I had chicken wings and thought they were very good. The prices were very reasonable and the service was quick. This is a great place to visit.

Local dive that has great fresh fish dishes, Usually go at lunchtime as service can be slow during the dinner hours. If you want a good po boy or grouper nuggets this is the place to eat. If your picky by nature go to a chain restaurant.

My Mom and and I were visiting and I looked on TripAdvisor for the best oysters and this place popped up. I have visited Amelia many times but never been to this place before and after reading the reviews we decided to check it out. We are so glad we did, I had a shrimp poboy and my mom had... More

I had the crab burger the patty was very thin and most likely frozen. the bun taste like it was sprayed with pam and lightly burn on the flat top. the lettuce was old. The collard greens were rubbery. My wife ordered the grouper wrap. It was good but small for the 10 dollar price. She had baked beans that... More
