This is a nice restaurant that serves southern food. I had the wings which were perfect. The other dishes I saw looked great too. Don't leave without sampling the chocolate, red velvet or the coconut cake she's famous for. It's worth the calories. The food came quickly.

After two lousy meals at two different "nice" restaurants the day before, I was craving some decent, home-cooked, basic breakfast food... Ms. Carolyn's delivered! We walked right in at 8:15 on Sunday morning and were seated immediately - I think we were the last table to be seated before a waiting list began. Our server was a little frazzled (it... More

Whenever my family travels, we try to find a go-to place for breakfast instead of overpriced breakfast at a hotel. This is the place to go if you are in Amelia Island. They are closed on Monday's. We went every other day we were in Amelia Island. The staff is very efficient (especially Sam). Great basic breakfast, fantastic cinnamon rolls... More

Great experience. Food was delivered fast and service was excellent. I had the breakfast burrito which was good and a large portion size. My wife had scrambled eggs, bacon and potato obrien and we split an order of French toast. Both were very good. We would come back again for breakfast.

This place was packed with the locals! The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety of choices. Although they were very very busy the service was good

Nice for lunch sandwiches, but best for the cakes. As for breakfast, wish they had real maple syrup, even for an upcharge.

Many people said try Carolyn ' s so we did. Ate breakfast as we left town for home. No one went away hungry and few finished their plates. We tried hash, omlettes, basic eggs and quiche, which was very full of ham and spinach. All very good as were the grits ( no lumps) and potatoes. Only loser was pancakes... More

Great place and great meal to start the day, the omelets were outstanding! The coffee was okay but service made up for it.
