Tim, the chief of the house, was forded out of Amelia Plantation when it went under - to the delight of all his neighborhood friends. He runs a super local, but expanding, great neighborhood restaurant.

I don't get it. There are so many great restaurants on this island, I'm not sure why this one is ranked so high. Maybe the folks at the Southern end of the island and the Ritz and Plantation tourists need to get out more.
Admittedly, our first impression was a sour one as we were snapped at by the hostess...

This restaurant is located in a quaint little shopping center on the main highway between Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island Plantation, very near the Ritz Carlton. The interior and decor are a little quirky, almost like dining in the rooms of an old house. It is very comfortable and the service is very pleasant and accommodating if not as professional...

This resultant has been getting some good reviews and I can say for good reason. There is a nice outdoor patio with a fire pit. The owner help with the wine and made a great recommendation. The snapper special was perfectly done. I would highly recommend.
I recently had a dinner and a lunch here. For the dinner, I had scallops on risotto which was very good with my favorite wine. My husband had a hamburger that was just ok but his craft beer was very good. We walked in fairly early and had very good service but the place was filling as we left. I...

Debbie and her staff at BarZin made the bridesmaid luncheon for our dear friend's daughter an experience she will never forget. They greeted us as though welcoming us into their home. We gave the guests a choice of crab salad with greens and avocado, fresh fish tacos, or a chicken panini sandwich. All the meals were fresh, beautifully presented, and...

Our new favorite place for dinner for two when you just want to catch up and enjoy a good, glass(s) of wine and intimate dinner.Efficient and friendly staff. Never disappointed. Also great lunch with girl friends kind of place.
Six of us ate here and enjoyed a delicious meal in an upscale setting. Everyone enjoyed their choices. My dinner was the grouper, one of the specials, beautifully presented with grilled veggies on the side. My husband had the scallops appetizer, crispy on a bed of herbed linguine and a wonderful house salad. Our waiter, Damian, was knowledgable and efficient....

We are residents of Amelia Island and have eaten at BarZin a few time and we mostly pleased with the food and service. Today the story was different, very different. We ordered and it took forever for our food to arrive and when it did, my crab cake sandwich was stone cold, not to mention the fries, which were even...

We just had dinner and wine at BarZin on Amelia Island and everything was perfect! Our server Betsey was really helpful and fun to be with. The Grouper and the Red Snapper Veracruse were amazing and the 2 bottles of Nobilo didn't hurt. You will not go wrong here.
