Always our first stop here

Everybody agrees: yummy. Good food, great, knowledgable server, and the atmosphere was adorable. Cold beer, hot food, and original dishes. We had the Love on a Plate, Cuban, portabella sandwich, and a pulled pork sandwich. Everything was passed around the table and we didn't leave a bite. It was... read more

We had the Love on a Plate, Cuban, portabella sandwich, and a pulled pork sandwich. Everything was passed around the table and we didn't leave a bite. It was artsy, laid back, and still attentive. How do they do it?

We were told that the chef at this restaurant is known as "The Scallop Whisperer". And we were not steered wrong. The environment had the ambiance of the tropics with a great outdoor seating area. All the seafood was extraordinarily fresh; but the scallops were beyond exceptional. A mix of locals (who are regulars) and tourists frequent this place. A... More

Last night of dinner down here on vacation and was worst of all weeks. My wife and I had the fish tacos and it was semi bland with not a lot of fish and the black beans and rice had no seasoning at all. Both my children had the grouper special and it was okay but for the 28 dollar... More

Our server at another restaurant recommended Lulu's and since we love Cajun food we decided to give it a try. You can either sit outside or inside. Since the bugs were biting we chose indoors. It has the funky, eclectic atmosphere that we like. We had local shrimp, fried oysters and my husband had some kind of pork dish. The... More

This was the first place we ate during our stay at Amelia Island. It was quirky and fun and the food was very good and enormous portions!

We ate at LuLu's last year, and the food was very bland. We ordered a grilled fish with black beans and rice and plantains. The food had very little taste and the whole restaurant smelled like fish.

Over the years we've enjoyed Lulu's, but lately it hasn't been as pleasurable. Recently they had a new dish that featured pablano sauce, but there was no pablano in a tasteless mess. Service was unusually poor with the server absent for long periods. Could be just a hiccup, but needs watching.

My daughter and I were looking for an easy place to eat on a very busy Sunday afternoon. After peeking in a couple of packed places, she asked to find Lulu's, as we had seen the sign for it. We walked a very short walk down a side street, and there it was! We almost missed it, and might have... More

We enjoyed this place a lot. Went there for the looks and enjoyed the food. The menu is fairly limited and my travel companion had a hard time finding something, but when the food arrived it was good! The portions are generous!
