Great find and funky, good place

A guy on the street recommended Lulu's---we never would have found it tucked back on a side street. It doesn't look like much from the street; a gravel garden with odd statuary and jumbled tables and chairs. But the food was all outstanding, the menu terrific, and the service so friendly and... read more

We live here and we eat here at least once a week! The owners and servers and chefs are wonderful and open themselves up to all of their guests! The menu offers a variey of cooking styles from various regions. The fish is delivered fresh each day. Everything is fresh and authentic! Ask for Mel and Brian and tell them... More

This was our 2nd visit to Lulu's. This time we had grouper sandwiches, mine blackened and wife's grilled. Excellent. Hush puppies were good. The dessert was blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. The ice cream was store bought or I would have given it 5 stars. If you're in Amelia, this is a must visit.

Went to dinner here last week. $120 for 3 yuenglings and 3 meals. No salad or bread came with the meals. Two of the meals were average. The third was a piece of moldy salmon that was clearly spoiled. The owner tried to convince us this was the way the salmon was supposed to taste. The replacement meal was supposed... More

While Lulu's enjoys a good reputation for the dinner menu their brunch leaves much to be desired on Sunday. My wife and I went there for mothers day I ordered french toast with bananas brulee, she ordered the frittata with home fries. While everything was tasty the size was incredibly small for both meals. My french toast order was three... More

We ventured into Lulu's one evening and sat in the very small dining room because of the chill in the outside air. We had had a late lunch, but still wanted a little something. Two of us ordered the caprese salad--a whole tomato sliced and alternated wit slices of fresh mozzarella and drizzled with balsamic vinegar. It was delightful! Our... More

We had dinner here last week and the food was delicious. The place looks a little run down, but we were able to dine al fresco and thoroughly enjoyed it. The outside eating area is covered, and there were torches placed around the dining area. I suppose they were for bug control. The appeared to be a little seating inside.... More

Found this place on Trip Advisor and certainly wouldn't have stumbled upon it otherwise because it's tucked away on a side street behind a house. The atmosphere is lovely. You are truly eating in the backyard but rather swanky feeling. You can definitely dress up or down to done here. We had calamari which was Wonderful! My husband and I... More
