My wife and I selected this restaurant based on reviews and wanted to experience a local restaurant. When we travel we typically try to stay away from food chains. To us, dining is part of the overall travel experience. Merge is a quaint, very small restaurant with only 8 tables that seat a total of about 30 people. Definitely worth... More

Came here during the busy tourist season after being turned away from another restaurant that couldn't seat us until 9PM. What a find! Service was quick and entertaining, and the food was spectacular! We will definitely return!

Way better than the average food than I've typically found in small resort towns on the east coast. Really enjoyed the quality of flavors and portion sizes that are not huge but just right. More is not better, better is better and the Merge delivers. I would recommend the Merge to any business traveler looking for a delicious meal.

More intimate, relaxed atmosphere, service was good, along with the food. Portions were a little on the small size, limited but interesting menu- would go again!

If you are visiting Amelia Island, this is a MUST. The food is fantastic, this chef is so talented. The new summer menu has a slider trio, to die for! You will not be disappointed in the food, service or pricing. Come and enjoy a fabulous night out.

My husband and I dined here. When we first arrived there was only one other table occupied. We soon found out we had no need for concern. The restaurant was completely full within minutes. We were lucky we beat the crowd. Lovely wine selection and willing to let you sample different wines (free of charge) before you make your selection.... More

The hubs surprised me with birthday dinner here. Overall, it was quite good. Menu is very limited but has inventive choices on it (rabbit spring rolls, which I never thought I would like, were quite good). I don't know if they have a wine list as it was never presented to us (a friend had pre-purchased wine as a surprise... More

I can't praise our meal at Merge enough! We had the house salad with a delicious French dressing that was light and woke up our taste buds. For entrees we ordered the sea scallops with risotto and the special of the day which was braised short ribs. Both dishes were the perfect union of savory flavors. I hesitate to order... More

Based on all the reviews, we had to dine at Merge. All the accolades written by the previous reviewers were so accurate. The restaurant is located just outside of the historic district and I must say a horrible location but that is the only thing I could say negative. I made our reservation through Open Table and we were greeted... More

After having had a truly wonderful dinner at Merge, we were amazed there wasn't a line around the block waiting to get in. There were only two other tables occupied while we were there. The citrus seared scallops were outstanding as was the filet. We would have been happy to try anything on the creative menu.
