Que Bueno

Stopped at Pablo's for a late lunch on a Wednesday. They have a very cute outdoor patio in back with seating in the shade of the trees. There was a large group of ladies seated in an alcove toward the back, but the noise was not bad. They also have a bar. We had the Pollo Maya which is a... read more

I was not particularly impressed with our meal. My companion's quesadilla had very little chicken. I had the shrimp, and it was the better of the two. They placed us in the very back, where I had a view of the men's room door throughout the meal. My companion wanted coffee after her meal, and they do not serve coffee!

The best mexican restaurant I have eaten. This was my second time to eat here and it was as good as the first. The food is fresh and the wait staff is very helpful. They also offer some of the best margaritas I have ever had to include an organic margarita which is very fresh. Children are welcome and they... More

We have been to Amelia Island several times over the past few years and were looking forward to another trip to Pablo's. We will not be recommending this restaurant and we will be passing it by on future trips. The service was extremely poor and our waitress had an attitude when she took our order and then delivered our cold... More

Went for lunch, so wasn't super crowded but could see how the atmosphere would be great. Awesome courtyard in the back, great flavor on the pork in the Chile Colorado and the chicken that was in the Quesadilla. It isn't pulled chicken. The organic marg is worth the $ & delicious.

I'm a self proclaimed margarita snob...these are as good as they get! For something different you must try the perfect margarita. Don't forget to ask for the spicy salsa with your chips;0

I ate lunch here last year and was so impressed by the authentic flavored and interesting offerings I posted a rave review. A year later, not so much. It appears the place has changed hands although I don't know for sure. Menu bland, food even more bland. Out of queso for chips and apparently cheese, in general, as two taco... More

I had dinner at Pablo's and loved it. Had the Carnitas and a Top Shelf Margarita. I chose a seat at the bar as the restaurant was pretty packed. Both of the bartenders were friendly and service was phenomenal, the food too. From the start, the chips were fresh, the salsa was very good, tasty and incorporated pico de gallo... More

I would give it three stars (minus). Food is ok. Not bad just nothing to get excited about. Margaritas seemed a little too syrupy to me. Service was pretty average too.

Pablo's is a fantastic restaurant in downtown Fernandina. I have lived here for years but had never been there until I took my grandma on the Amelia Island Tasting Tour for her birthday. The food - including the arroz con pollo, fresh salsa and queso dip and amazing sangria - was all so fresh and delicious. There are several nice... More
