We recently had dinner at Ciao Bistro . It was wonderful, as others have reported the owner met us at the door. They had homemade bread and dip. I choose the Pork Milanese, which was outstanding. My husband had the veal piccata. The ingredients were fresh and the food was piping hot. The owner worked the room the entire time... more

After reading all the reviews here, we had very high expectations for this place. The owner and the waitstaff do create a lovely atmosphere that was very enjoyable. For that reason, I can say we did enjoy our meal but were not at all impressed with the food. We had reservations for 7:15 but the place was swamped which we... more

We read the reveiws here, so we went with high hopes. It was fantastico! The brucshetta special, bread, lasagna and farfalle de pollo were all great. The owner greeted us warmly and the server was also friendly and helpful all evening. more

I deserve twenty kicks in the pants for the same number of times I drove by, thinking that someday we had to try it. Arrived at 7:30, the place was full except for a conveniently available 2 top. We had the special bruschetta, topped with fresh tomatoes, red onion, basil and other herbs, fresh mozzarella all marinated in a balsamic... more

We went based on reviews and the food was exceptional. It is out of town a little bit, but worth the trip. more

I love Italian food, and took the advice of others on this site who had recommended it and was not disappointed. The service is unbelievable, the owner is friendly and hospitable, and the food is INCREDIBLE! I took my wife here for her birthday dinner while we were vacationing on Amelia Island, and she absolutely loved it. Perfect, intimate atmosphere... more

My friend insisted we go to this restaurant on a recent visit to her house. She said the lasagne was what I had to order and was big enough to share, but that we weren't sharing. I'm so glad we didn't - I had leftovers to relish for lunch the next day! The bread and oil is amazing and I... more

You go to this restaurant for the food. Period. Location is in a non-descript small strip mall near Lowe's before you cross the bridge onto the island and obviously not in "town" with all the other well-known restaurants. But if you want great, homemade Italian food at reasonable prices, a good well-priced wine list and a friendly staff, this is... more
