Wonderful authentic Italian, and yes on the beach!!

We were greeted by Luko. Since it was a special occasion he offered us the house bruschetta. Immediately we knew we had chosen a great spot. Since we live here in AI, we have frequented many restaurants but were hesitant to try Italian. Everything was fabulous, pricing was very reasonable. Two... read more

I have eaten Italian food before but none can compare to this quality. When we were there the owner was present and greeted us like we were family..no we're not related. The atmosphere was as outstanding as was the food and the service. It was so great we when back for a second time. This was better than the first.... More

We have been going "BACK" to Ciao Bistro since 2008 when we first discovered this gem of a restaurant! I use the term "BACK" because another recent reviewer seems to be troubled by the word "BACK" in referencing where he and his wife were seated. What does that mean? I have sat in every corner of the restaurant. There is... More

The food was great. I should have listened to the waiter. I was not not impressed with the Chicken Ciao. Unless you like hearty food. Should have used rigatoni instead of spaghetti. Listen to the waiters they will not stir you wrong.

We had just arrived on the island and went for a meal, to find the most amazing Italian food! The beet salad was divine as was the shrimp with angel hair pasta. They asked to move tables to accommodate a large party and rewarded us with free dessert! By the time we left the place was packed, for good reason!

My wife and I wanted to try this restaurant out Friday. Well we didn't have reservations but were told 10 minutes. Finally we were seated in the back....no big deal right? Well my wife is African American and so was the table next to us. There also was another African American couple right behind them in the back( by the... More

What can I say? Nothing negative for sure. My husband had Caesar salad and zuppa pesce. I had the antipasto and eggplant parmesan. All excellent, except, yes, I guess some negative - my eggplant was too oily (typical problem) but the cheese on top and breading balanced it out nicely. We each had wine and shared the light limoncello cake... More

Wow, what a great surprise! I can't believe I waited so long to try Ciao Bistro. My wife and I have been visiting Fernandina Beach a lot for the past five years and last night we tried Ciao Bistro for our Valentines dinner. The restaurant was crowded but we lucked out and got a table for two without having to... More
