This was the second time we tried to eat here and we got the same service: NONE! What I mean by that is we waited for 15 minutes and no one served us. The waitress even saw us & went past us few times and didn't even stop and say I'll be with you soon, nothing. The same happened the... More

Beautiful setting. Leslie makes the best rum runner to accompany the delicious fish tacos. One of our favorite places on the island.

Ate twice at Sandy Bottoms during our week and after the first visit came back and got the same thing. Basa Sandwich with fresh tomato and onion . Served on a Steamed Bun this oversized piece of Basa Fish hangs well over each side by about 3 inchs or more or as of the first time stacked with two smaller... More

This restaurant was right in front of our hotel. We ate here about 9 pm on a Saturday night. It was too chilly to eat outside so we ate inside. We had wings & shrimp appetizers & an alcoholic beverage. There was hardly anyone there? The food was good.

Sandy Bottoms serves freaky good food in a lovely location right on the beach. We had dinner during the rising of a full orange moon over the Atlantic ocean - what a wonderful experience and super way to enjoy great food. Service was good despite the very busy deck dining.

Great restaurant on the beach. We went in late September so the tables on the sand were already taken in but we had a great table right next to the sand on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The four of us had delicious meals and drinks while Leslie, our server, pointed out the dolphins swimming right offshore in front of us.... More

affordable, laid-back restaurant with low-key live music at night. We ate there 3 times on recent stay to Elizabeth Pointe Lodge because it was next door. Ate outdoors and to it to go some meals. Great pizzas.

We had a half pound of peel and eat shrimp that were very sweet and tender. We also had a platter of grilled scallops that were excellent. The coleslaw and tangy with lots of celery seed. The fries were good and we both had Caesar salads which were excellent. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The place is not fancy... More

Drove up to Fernandina just to get away for an afternoon. Went to Sandy Bottoms because a friend likes it and I can see why. It was such a beautiful day and sitting on the porch with the breeze was therapeutic. We sat there for about 4 hours and had some cold beer (waitress Lauren even put a bag of... More

Well Hubby went while I enjoyed my the sea breeze and the sound of the waves crashing to shore. Hubby returned and said it will take about 20 mins. We sat there joying the view while waited... More
