If you want a restaurant with the view you can't beat it. It is right on the beach. You can sit inside, on the covered patio or in the open-air right on the beach! Food is very good. We had blackened shrimp & cleaned our plates! Margaritas!

On my way to Savanah I decided to stop in Fernandia Beach. I stopped at Sandy Bottoms for lunch and a drink. I had the pleasure of having a bartender named Leslie wait on me. She was so pleasant and had a great personalty. She went out of her way to make me feel taken care. Thanks Sandy Bottoms!

Clearly my favorite bar and restaurant! Everything about it is great, but especially the service of the bartender, Leslie! She makes the experience great :)

We first walked in and noticed what was poor sewage ventilation. Absolutely gross. The bathrooms smelled better than the dining room. We should have known to leave. We sat outside, ordered... The Reuben was not "sliced corned beef" it looked like a patty melt with about 3 ounces I ground beef and thousand island dressing on burnt toast. The Philly... More

Good food and fun place to watch sports on TV while overlooking the bay. Popular in the evenings also. Very casual.

This was the second time we tried to eat here and we got the same service: NONE! What I mean by that is we waited for 15 minutes and no one served us. The waitress even saw us & went past us few times and didn't even stop and say I'll be with you soon, nothing. The same happened the... More

Beautiful setting. Leslie makes the best rum runner to accompany the delicious fish tacos. One of our favorite places on the island.

Ate twice at Sandy Bottoms during our week and after the first visit came back and got the same thing. Basa Sandwich with fresh tomato and onion . Served on a Steamed Bun this oversized piece of Basa Fish hangs well over each side by about 3 inchs or more or as of the first time stacked with two smaller... More
