We enjoyed either lunch or dinner at this very convenient location. There is live music with a variety that was refreshing and not overwhelming

It's your typical Florida beachside bar. It's conveniently located when you're hanging at the beach and don't feel yet like going home. You are welcome here with your sandy bottom, and that's part of its charm. But don't expect the food or service to be astounding. It's fine as long as you stick with the basics.

Ok. I primarily love it because when I stay at the Elizabeth Pointe Lodge next door, I can walk down the beach to the Sandy Bottoms, sit at their very long bar that overlooks the ocean, have a quiet dinner and a beer, and then not worry about drinking and driving. As a solo traveler, I do worry a bit... More

Restaurant has a nice area to see the ocean from. It is right on the beach. That is the high point. The service was mediocre. The servers themselves were very pleasant. Tables close together and plastic chairs outside. Food was not bad, but not that good.

We walked in and sat ourselves. A waitress came over quickly and gave us a menu and took our drink order. She returned with our drinks and took our order and that was the last we saw her for a good 1/2 hour. When she then told us our food would be out shortly. I watched as two couples came... More

We visited Sand Bottoms for its convenience to the beach. We had arrived late in the afternoon, it was a pretty day, and this restaurant seemed like a good place to eat and soak up the views before heading out to explore. There was a good live band playing and we went out to sit on the open air patio.... More

We were looking for a different restaurant but stopped here when we couldnt find it. The location couldn't be better as it's right on the beach, a few tables are on the sand. We ate outside with some pleasant live music to entertain us. Food (grilled fish and crab cakes) was Ok for the price. Soft drinks overpriced. Service was... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch. This place sits on the beach, so you don't get much closer than this. We had the Crabby Bites for an appetizer. They were good especially when dipped in the very zippy remoulade sauce. Hubby had the Oysters, I had the Seafood Gumbo. Oysters were ok, Gumbo was good. I would go back again... More

Right on the beach with in/outdoor dining and bars. We were there on a Tues so didn't see/hear the band or how crowded the dance floor might get. Upstairs balcony dining was closed. So I suspect the place is probably jumping on the weekends. Food was pretty average (baskets or platters of fish, small plate salads). Plenty of fish variety.... More
