Great Location but..

This restaurant has a perfect location, just off the beach and what a view. We had lunch here on two separate occasions, food was average and service was just ok. It appears that it is more of a bar than food location.

Overlooking the beach. Had the "HFC" (Holy Friggin' Cow), wife and 2 friends had the Chicken fried Chicken. All was very good. Highly recommend!

Overlooking the beach and ocean, Sandy Bottoms is just one of those beach bars that belongs. The food is good, the drinks are cold, the service is great, and the view is spectacular. The place is next to a delightful park too. Nothing special here, just the kind of place I love!

Sandy Bottoms is ON the beach! The food was good. The service was good. The upstairs view was fantastic. Try the corn chowder. It has shrimp, lobster, bacon, and vegetables in it. Very tasty.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. We both had hamburgers which we thought were cooked exactly to our specifications and were moist and flavorful. My husband particularly like the black bean and mango side dish. The place was a little busy when we walked in, and it took a while for a server to help us. But the meal... More

This is my opinion. I know everyone has different tastes. We've been here for lunch about 40 times in the past year. Sandy bottom is located on the beach. If you are here on vacation watching the waves is a necessity. The restaurant shelters from the winter winds so we can still sit outside. There is plenty of sun and... More

This place is right on the beach and has outdoor seating when it is warmer. Great selection of food. Had taco's and Gumbo. Both where excellent. Went back the next night for pizza. Can't go wrong with this place

It is a nice location, we went there for dinner. Disappointing, since we went with the waitresses suggestion of a red grouper platter ($28). It was 2 pieces of fried fish and 2 disappointing sides. Hush puppies were undercooked and gummy, we had already gotten a $10 appetizer that looked just like hushpuppies (shrimp and crab), the fried fish was... More
