Camellia Streeet Grill is a diamond in the rough. Perched on the coral cliffs overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, it's casual, quirky decor disguises the kitchen of a master chef, owner Terry. We had Spanish Mackerel we had just caught, a heavenly salad w/ citrus dressing, and stone crab claws from the dock next door. Even the vegetable medley, usually... more

We ate here two nights out of four. We liked the grilled veggies, rice and VERY FRESH fish. The staff rates a #1. Very relaxed atmosphere. more

Let's face it- this is not Miami or Naples!! If you want good camp food then this is the place. We were the only ones there on Thanksgiving eve and ordered at the counter. Shortly, the place filled up. I can see how food would take a while to get if it was crowded. We had the gator bites, she crab... more

We had the extreme misfortune of actually paying attention to the other reviewers and visiting this place for dinner. One places one's order at a counter, and then sits down and waits and waits and waits for the food. The tables and chairs are old and rickety, and not comfortable, expecially considering you will spend so much time in them.... more

We ate dinner here twice in our 3 days in Everglades City. Wide choice, fresh and good. A bit greasy but that's Everglades City. more

We ate at the Camellia Street Grill this evening & really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is funky - colorful - fun decorations - including a flower emblazened original VW Bug. We enjoyed talking to the owner/ cook. The food is very fresh & good. Great "just caught" seafood. Nice to sit outside on the water. more

This place is a gem. Visiting from Australia we fell in love with this place. This is home cooked food like you never got at home. The salads are grown out the back and just don’t get any fresher. No choice of a million dressings here (thank god) but what you get is just perfect and whipped up in the... more

We had lunch here during the last week before they closed for the summer season. It was hot but the beer was cold and the food was tasty. Nice to see a place with imagination in such a small town. more

Dad and daughter had a great time at this dockside location. Couple of beers, grouper and chips and a crab thing! Great. Watch the fishing boats come in, the ospreys catching fish and chatted with other clients. A really relaxed place. This is my failing. I just don't get country music. Please take the whinning somewhere else. more

We spent the day fishing and the captain of our boat recommend Cameilla Street. We were able to bring our own fresh caught cleaned fish and they cooked it up. Can't beat that. Small, quaint restaurant with that down home feeling. Inside dining is in a screened back porch or eat outside overlooking the water. more
