Great food in rustic atmosphere. We spent both evenings of our stay there. The place to be after a long day in nature.

Food was almost exceptional - the burger was top 3 I've ever had and my wife loved the catfish. Trouble was the starters came up only 3 minutes before the mains and then we had a 45 minute wait for desert, having to remind them 3 times (when they served up people who had ordered after us). We have read... More

It is not easy to find a suitable place for dinner in Everglades City because everything seems to close down by 6 p.m. at the latest. So we strolled through town and found this place directly by the harbour. The atmosphere is wonderful, especially if you sit outside- the only thing that can spoil the evening are the bugs. My... Excellent food and very friendly Staff. Same good memories as from two years ago. A place to go when being in Everglades City.

The restaurant is on the Barron River, and is a colorful, funky, sweet little place. We sat outside on the shady porch. You place your order at the counter inside, and the food is brought to your table. I had fresh cook, u-peel shrimp, and they were sweet and delicious. My sister had a really tasty chicken quesadilla. She thought... More

We live in another state and only get to the Everglades area for a few days each year. We have eaten here 7 or 8 different times. The first couple of times were very enjoyable. The last few times have sucked. The front counter gal gets ruder every time, the service gets slower (took almost 90 minutes to get our... More

I had shrimp and grits, which were excellent....(although the toast was really part of a grilled bun) the fresh herb salad that came with it was the star! Fresh dill, mint, basil from their extensive vegetable, fruit and herb garden with mixed fresh greens and their salad dressing was fabulous! It is a small VERY casual waterfront place...you order at... More

The Food was Good, the Customer Service was Poor. A bug was in one of our spirit drinks after drinking half of it. When we noticed it our daughter was like I can't drink this, so her dad went to the counter and asked if they could replenish the 1/2 glass as a courtesy and they said no we had... More

Pulled in from a long day of driving and had a great relaxed dinner. Something for everyone on this menu (kids, vegetarians, adults). Watched the sunset over the mangrove forest while watching the river rush by. Awesome.
