Excellent Lunch!!

What a great spot for a leisurely lunch prior to an airboat ride!! Simple set up with order and collect from counter. Soft shell crab was superb as we're the prawns; both delicately battered with sublimely fresh taste. Wash down with ice cold beer and watch the boats and manatees go by. Really... read more

We stopped here for lunch during our visit to Everglades City and it was delicious. We both had the fried shrimp basket. They give you lots of food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in Everglades City.

The table we sat at on their patio overlooked the Everglades and we could see airboats coming by. The building had nice artifacts mostly about fishing and the building fit in perfectly with its location. The food however needs improvement. My sandwich didn't taste good, the alligator bites were the best part.

Let's be honest there is not much happening in Everglades City; it's not really a city and the only reason to head of Route 41 is to organise a boat tour of the Everglades. Well another reason is to pop into this great little place for some gator or shrimp. It's down home cooking, no frills but authentic South Florida... More

Had shrimp basket with 12 shrimp and fries and drink for $12. Food was great. It was on the water. Outside dining with no fans. Family owned.

On the water, great seafood, and quick service! The shrimp are very lightly battered, so we were able to really enjoy the taste of the fresh shrimp!

We had lunch at this restaurant after finding it on Trip Advisor. I think they should offer less menu items and more locally sourced seafood. My scallop basket was small bay scallops that don't do well fried instead of the now in-season local scallops.. Everything looked to be brought in frozen, we ordered the aforementioned scallops, fish and calamari. None... More

Stopped here for lunch as Tripadvisor places 1-4 were closed! This was fine. our table had the grilled grouper, blackened grouper, chicken tenders. All were good. Beer selection was not fabulous. Sat at a picnic table and watched the afternoon squall blow through. Would I come here again? Maybe. I want to try the other top rated places first! But... More

We beat the local lunch rush. Every service worker imaginable was present. Our family's lunch was very good. The chicken fingers were fresh and hot, which made the kids happy. The adults enjoyed a scallops plate and shrimp fry sandwich -- both excellent. I would recommend.
