This place is simple, but divine. You can have breakfast orlunch, it closes at 6 p.m. All seafood dishes are as fresh as can be. We went their twice during our stay in Everglades City and tried the stonecrab claws (awesome), shrimp wrap and shrimp basket, soft shell shrimp sandwich and onion rings for our kids. Everything was absolutely delicious.... More

Went to the Everglades for a flat bottom boat tour, but had time for lunch before the tour, tour check-in reccommended City Seafood, they were right on. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but the food and the view inside made up for the outside. Between the 4 of us we had shrimp, soft-shell crab and grouper,... More

We ate here whilst visiting the Everglades and enjoyed the food. The fish is fresh and the food is very good but ordering can be a bit chaotic if you arrive at a busy time (which we did). So much so we collected our tray and got back to our seat to notice we didn't have our key lime pie.... More

If you like to eat outside along the water this is the place to go. Food was good, they have a wide variety of fish sandwiches, platters and even burgers. Nothing fancy, basic picnic tables but fun to sit along water, eating shrimp platter and a beer. Will go again.

Their is picnic style table seating by/over the water and you may also eat away from the water. You could see fish in the water . Just watch out for bird poop on the table :(

We had a great breakfast at City Seafood when we were in the area 3 years ago. It was so memorable we made sure to eat there again in March of 2014. They have a fun outside picnic area for lunch and early afternoon snacks. Great ice cream too. Sit and watch the water, birds and airboats on the bay.

Stay in Everglades City after your airboat ride and have lunch or dinner on the water here. Super basic but super fresh seafood. We had a few drinks and dinner during sunset and it was spectacular. All the throngs of airboat visitors had departed and we were virtually alone to enjoy the natural spender.

This is a really nice place to eat. you have several choices of seating inside or out. They have a wide selection of food, especially local caught seafood. The food service is very very good. I really recommend eating here if you are staying in Everglades City

City Seafood is a bit of an eccentric place where you stand in line to order and pick up your food and eat in a VERY rustic environment on picnic tables by the water. That said, the food is awesome. Today I had the shrimp basket and sweet potato fries and my husband had the grouper and fries. Everything is... More
