Tucked into kind of a non-descript shopping center, this little cafe/ice cream place has a neighborhood feel to it. It has a specific old-movie decor and in fact you'll see old drive-in movie speakers hung near a lot of the booths. We had ice cream here once in December and it was good but not fantastic. However last week we... More

Food is fine. Cute decor. Ice cream is great! They have a booth that is one half a car. Great place to take the kids.

We love eating here -- the food is always excellent and they serve very generous portions. Everything is tasty and most days, they post a photo on Facebook so you can see what the daily specials are. That Facebook posting is helpful for us, because we come from the end of Englewood closest to Venice and it's a little bit... More

I have only had one meal at Lickity Split, which was very tasty! But I am a regular for their ice-cream! My favorite, caramel cashew! OMG! I love that stuff! They always pile it on high, even if you only order 1 scoop...it is a lot of goodness. The staff is always friendly, the atmosphere is old school diner...with car... More

Located in Tiffany Square, right off SR 776, Likity Split Cafe should be one of your stops. It boasts a 50's-60's scene with photos of famous stars filling up the walls. Sit in the '57 Chevy booth and have a cone or dish of some of their homemade ice-cream. You will be hard pressed to find better ice-cream!

Have been visiting the Englewood area for years now and have seen a lot of local favourites go under. Lickity Splits has been there for years and has never really compromised anything. The ice cream is great, the decors brilliant and the staff are always friendly. If your eating out in the area, don't order desert! Come here instead

My wife and I walked into this place around 7pm and found nobody there to seat or serve us. We waited around for about five minutes and called out, but nobody responded. Very peculiar. Needless to say, we walked out, probably never to return.
