The soups are home-made everyday. Their sandwiches, home-made cole slaw, apple sauce, etc is also made daily. The restaurant is owned by a family that works it almost daily. Have been travelling to Englewood for past 10 years and this August was the first time we managed to get to Lickity Split Cafe - and boy have we been missing out!!! It was wonderful - food all freshly prepared and the variety was second to none ......... roll on our next visit until we get to this wonderful little... more

We decided to check out this little cafe after seeing a menu left in the house we rented, with a hand-written note on the top saying how good it was. We're so grateful to the prior guests. My family love it here. Excellent service, great food. Kids love the booths and the memorabilia on the walls. Sandwiches and soup great, ice cream fantastic. Definately worth a visit. more
