Every month we choose a restaurant to get together and this morning we choose Beyond The Sea for Breakfast. Staff were friendly and the food came just how we asked it. My eggs were perfect and the ham was lovely. I don't think there was really a true negative the only thing was no jelly on the table for the... More

Discovered this place a couple years ago and it just keeps getting better. Our favorites are the Banshee Shrimp and Ahi Tuna. We have also enjoyed their Prime Rib, Fish Fry and Banshee Shrimp Pasta. They have recently brought over the entire staff from the former Egg and I restaurant and now serve breakfast and brunch, which are equally excellent.... More

My family and I didn't realize that most restaurants close early during the summer here in englewood. The cook at Beyond the Sea was nice enough to personally come out to the parking lot and offer to keep the kitchen open for us even though they had just closed. The food was fabulous! The lobster Mac and Cheese, and the... More

Our first time visit to the restaurant because we specifically came to see a band play, the Apple Scruffs. What an awesome delightful time! The fish fry was absolutely delicious. Lightly breaded and light tasting; the price was right too! How can they possibly make money with this dish? It was 9.99 came with fries and a very tasty coleslaw.... More

We had a great breakfast here. Staff were friendly and quick. The pancakes were freshly made and delicious, the corned beef hash was lovely, eggs cooked as wanted and bacon crispy. Fantastic value. We will be going again! Restaurant half full with locals - always a good sign.

Met a friend at this restaurant after yoga class as it is close to the yoga studio. Service was very pleasant and efficient, although the restaurant wasn't busy when we were there. Menu offers quite a bit of choice. We opted to split an appetizer and an entree salad. The kitchen did it for us without a problem or a... More

We enjoyed the conch fritter appetizer and a very reasonably priced craft beer on tap- a wheat beer from Chicago for just $3.50. Our entrees didn't live up to our expectations- I had seafood strudel which looked like a fillo dough burrito filled with dry mashed up seafood inside. My wife ordered chicken Gaspar and said that the sauce had... More

The server was so good she anticipated our needs before we knew we had them! She brought bread out for the baby and had our drinks to us in record time. And the food, the food! Oh my! The bread was hot, crusty, fresh and so yummy. We ordered Stuffed Flounder - melt in your mouth, sautéed Jumbo Sea Scallops... More
