The best lobster bisque. (Period) We go for the bisque mainly, but the other items on the menu are very good.
We visited Mango Bistro twice for breakfast and once of dinner during our latest trip to Englewood. This place was a wonderful find! The salmon crepe for breakfast was very good. The Paninis for dinner were a great choice. The wait staff was wonderful! Everyone was very nice with great service. They even brought our baby a wonderful little platter... More
We stopped in 20 minutes before there 3:00 pm closing time and the waitress insisted we stay and eat. The service was great and the food was wonderful! I had a Portabello Panini made with fresh bread. The sandwich is big enough that I took half home and ate it that evening for dinner! My husband had one of their... More
This is a local place that our Florida "snowbirds" introduced us too. Loved the menu and the crab bisque which both my hubby and I had, he with a 1/2 wrap, me with a 1/2 sandwich. It's a sort of "funky" place but so "real" Florida. We ate outside since the weather was perfect. We will for sure eat there... More
Recently spent a week in Englewood and grabbed breakfast twice at Mango Bistro. It's a very comfortable little place with really good food and prompt, pleasant service. The menu is a nice change from the traditional breakfast fare - crepes, bagel sandwiches and a variety of other, unique entrees. Everything served was fresh and plentiful. A great choice for breakfast... More
We went here with friends and all had good food. I had a cup of the Lobster Bisque and a Cranberry Turkey wrap. The sweetie had a Veggie Wrap. Our friends had a Cubano and a Chicken salad on a Gluten free bun. We were all happy with the taste. The two ladies had desserts to go and mine had... More
A hidden gem in artsy downtown Englewood, just a few miles from trendy Boca Grande. The music has a Latin, salsa South American beat and the food is delicious. My favorite is the salmon wrap. Great wine list.
I can't stop thinking about the portabello mushroom crepe with drizzled pesto sauce that I had there last week. The side salad was delicious with the best tomatoes. Can't wait to go back and eat another crepe.
So being from out of town my husband and I were undecided on what to do on this rainy St .Patrick's Day. More than happy to say that we stumbled upon the cutest little Bistro right in Downtown Englewood. They were very busy despite not having the traditional fare for this holiday so we knew it must be good. We... More
My first visit to this establishment and well worth it. The attention to detail was amazing. Had some soup and salad for lunch. Fresh and very tasty. Who ever owns this establishment pays attention to detail. It was just that good.
