The Rock Shrimp was excellent, as they were big and came off the shell so easy! My one friend had the prime rib and said it is better than "Black Beards". The guys both had fish and said it was so good. Will be back soon!

There were 12 of us and the waitress did a great job of taking care of each of us. Plus the food was great!! I definitely will go back.

Real good food. The kind of place you try and find off the beaten path. There was four of us one had the NY strip which was thick, very tender, and flavorful. I had the prime rib which is my go to steak when I go out and it was incredibly tender and the rub that they put on it... More

We have been to Riptides on two occasions, both with out of town guests. I was almost embarrassed both times. The first time, service was slow, not sure if they were short handed, or they were setting up for a regular weekly meeting with some of the locals, but it took a while. Although I realize a lot of people... More

Food was Incredible, Fresh Seafood, Great Steaks. Salad was Average but the Ranch dressing was the Best I have ever had. Our waitress said the owner makes all the sauces. Prime Rib was very tender and had great flavor, they claim they use a special rub and whatever it is they use makes the Prime Rib the Best I've ever... More

This place came recommended to us before and we gave it a try. We were disappointed. The same person recommended it again tonight, so we decided maybe we caught it on an off night before, even though the surroundings leave much to desire and decided to give it another try. It honestly was Robert Irvine's worst nightmare!! (I'm sure no... More

Riptides has something few restaurants have - rock shrimp. They look like shrimp-size lobster tails, and taste very similar. They are served with melted butter. My favorite potato there is "fully dressed" baked potato. Their homemade coleslaw is made with a dressing that is not sweet, but creamy. It's a great restaurant for families and groups, too.

Had dinner twice there. Place is funky (dark and not the cleanest) and food is not great. Salads are so-so and entrees are typical frozen and heated food. Nothing great here to suggest to eat.

This restaurant came highly recommended. Couldn't wait to try it! The building was neglected on the outside but looked past that because of the recommendation. Ordered rock shrimp, my friend had the baked stuffed shrimp. Both were horrible. The rock shrimp were dry and overcooked, the. Baked potatoes tasted days old. Also the carpet in the restaurant had an odor... More

Somewhat typical seafood restaurant. Early bird starts at 4 pm -- slightly lower prices with slightly smaller entrees (e.g., 7 instead of 9 shrimp or oysters.). Early bird/senior menu from $9 to $13. Regular entrees from $10 to $24. We got the Mates Platter -- enough for two to split (18.95). No bread, crackers instead. Cole slaw cut very coarse.... More
