Generous portions at a good price

We had breakfast here, typical diner fare although there were Mexican items on the menu as well. The food came almost immediately, as orders, and in generous measure. Many local folks were there enjoying the morning meal, including a few charter boat captains talking about the day's prospects.

This restaurant has the best Breakfast. This is definitely the place to go for breakfast. Did not eat the Mexican , just the breakfast fare. Everything was just the best.

Great food that was a nice break from seafood. Nice small place that has fast service. The fajitas are probably the best I have ever had and a double order was just over $20. Will return.

El Jalisco certainly has it figured out. We absolutely enjoyed everything on our breakfast plates. Needing a good and hearty meal ,,, this is the place to go!

This is a great place for a southern breakfast, in a Mexican Place. The breakfast menu was primarily American, with all the favorites...omelets, eggs, pancakes, etc. There were a few Mexican items: Huervos Rancheros, and Burrito's. We all had the American fare, so can't comment on the Mexican breakfast items. In deference to the snow birds, they even offered a... More

We had eaten here twice a couple of years ago and looked forward to coming back the next time in the area. The experience, though, did not live up to our recollections. One of our entrees arrived - without explanation or apology - about 10 minutes after the other. The food itself was no better than average. We will not... More

I had the chile relleno plate (included guacamole salad, chips and salsa) plus two cervesas all for about $12. Large portions, tasty but not overly spicy all made it an excellent deal. The only fault I would mention is the salsa, which tasted bland and store bought.

Returned again after having a couple good meals here last year. Huge menu for such a small kitchen. All the usual Mexican favorites and lots of hearty lunch specials. service was quick and efficient if not the most friendly. We will return.

Nice home cooked breakfast. Take your time read the paper or just listen the local fishermen stories
