Well prepared and fast service

Sunday breakfast. Wife had omelet; I had "Goulash" (Medium). Less than $15 including the tip. This an unpretentious ex-Waffle House? where they cook in full view. Breakfast is American with a full selection. We'll try them later for Mexican lunch or dinner. Service is attentive. The place was... read more

My husband is more in love with this place than I am. He loves their Burrito Supreme. He has a real hardy appetite and 1 Burrito Supreme fill him up along with the free chips and salsa. I like their beef and cheese nachos. I also like their burger and fries that aren't on the menu. You just have to... More

Extensive lunch and dinner menu with all the usual Mexican treats. Lots of lunch specials. You won't go away hungry. Food is fresh. Service fast. They have an extensive menu for American breakfasts. Busy place on the Saturday we were there.

A very popular place with the locals for breakfast. Don't expect to see huevos rancheros on the menu - nope, it's eggs and bacon/ham/sausage, biscuits and gravy, denver omelets, etc. only on their breakfast menu, and the tables, booths and bar stools are filled with guys on their way to work. Good, hearty breakfast fare. For lunch and dinner, they... More

Agree with everything that everyone else has written. We almost didn't stop here as from the outside it doesn't look great but after speaking to a local here they recommended it so we decided to give it a try. The service was quick. The place was packed and everytime we have driven by it has been a full parking lot.... More

I love the food here and the people are fantastic, but they need to clean a little more, it's not a very clean place.

I know it is not much to look at, so I guess it really is all about the cooks. The menu is the same as a lot of local Mexican restaurants throughout the Tallahassee area but the food is at least two notches above any of the others. Given that the same cooks and staff are always there must account... More

El Jalisco is a traditional stop for us on our annual fishing excursion. The coffee is hot and quick to get to the table. The food is tasty for regular fare (eggs, grits, pancakes, etc.), arrives hot off the grill and is quick to arrive. This place gets high marks from us!

My friends and I always eat breakfast at El Jalisco when we're in Eastpoint, Florida. I've had the breakfast burritos, which are even better when you ask them to add hashbrowns to the inside, the Spanish omelet, which has a little kick from hot peppers, and the pancake breakfast, which is also delightful. The coffee's hot, the food is great,... More

Dont' let the appearance from outside turn you away. The building appears to be a former Waffle/Huddle House or something of the like, which is fine by us. We called in a take out for large group. The young lady on phone was very patient and helpful. When picked up she double checked the order and ensured we had everything... More
