Food better than place looks.

Was surprised at how good the food was. The restaurant was kind of run down, so I was kind of surprised at how good the food was. Prices were a little bit on the high side.

I have not been ,but if this is any relation to El Jalisco in Tallahassee - yuuummmm. I am not usually a fan of mexican and only go two a select 3 mexican restaurants. El Jalisco in Tally has great queso, shrimp, great quesadillas, margaritas. Very casual.

We stopped here in the way to St. George Island to have lunch not expecting much. Boy were we surprised. This restaurant serves an American breakfast and Mexican food for lunch and dinner. We knew it was good when the chips and salsa came out and it was very flavorful. We all ordered chicken fajita quesadillas and were really happy... More

Pretty expansive menu. I had Garlicky Shrimps and they were delish! Good margarita, too. Hubby had tamales and he said they were good. I did not taste them. They were served with a cheese sauce.

We ordered several dishes and the food was prepared to order, it was cheap, plentiful and tasty. Great and friendly service.

We ate at El Jalisco for breakfast. It was good, but it is the only place to eat in the area. It was a little higher priced than I thought it would be after reading reviews. The omelette was good but the biscuit and grits were nothing to write home about. My scrambled eggs were fine.

Great, authentic and very fresh food. From the outside looks like an old trailer, but it is quite nice inside and the food makes up for the looks, and how. Everything we ate there was exceptionally good (enchiladas, burritos, mexican chicken, chimichanga, and churros).

Best way to start the day! A plate full of food that will tide you over till dinner. I'm picky about my scrambled eggs and they cooked mine to perfection!

The goulash is the bomb. Get it every time we come down. Friendly people and the Mexican food for lunch and dinner is good as well. Large portions.
