The waitress was very polite and knew the menu items. She make great recommendations for taste and best food for your buck. Food cooked to perfection. Salad was fresh. Restaurant was clean and nice decor.

Musselwhite's is a nice restaurant not far from my childhood home in East Palatka, Florida. They serve great seafood in a pretty nice setting. It's clean and service is pretty good. The chef used to work at Barnacle Bill's in St. Augustine, Florida, so the food is similar to that place. Specialty is obviously fried seafood, as it is in... More

This was some of the best fried seafood I have had. Everything was super fresh tasting and the batter/breadings were light and very good. The peel and eat shrimp was huge, plump, and perfectly cooked. The kids ate some shrimp and crab appetizers, but ordered burgers and these were really good too. Cooked right and fresh tasting, The pies were... More

I had Shrimp and Prime Rib! I was stocked to see the "Shrimp Pink Sauce"! We hadn't seen the pink sauce since St. Augustine, FL! Our server was Fabulous! The food was excellent! We will be back!

We chose it because it was walking distance from our hotel and we were glad we did. It was Friday evening and quite busy so we decided to eat at the bar. The bar was very comfortable, but small. Our bartender was very busy but also very attentive. I had the special of the day, fresh grouper, grilled with baked... More

Apparently blackening scallops is a difficult technique and according ot the waitress, it took 3 attempts to get my scallops cooked. The cajun seasonings were not even on said scallops. These were bay scallops, about 14 of them and a bit overcooked. Fried clam strip dinner was plentiful and fried shrimp were plump and flavorful. I would give this place... More

While visiting Palatka, my friends and I had planned to eat at Corky Bells, but the wait was too long. Therefore, we tried Musselwhite's and were glad we did. The seafood was excellent. The hush puppies and sweet potato fries were as good as any I've ever had. The restaurant is kind of bare bones in decor, but their prices... More

When I asked our waitress if the tilapia was farm raised or wild caught, she replied "oh, it's caught" but returned from the kitchen shortly thereafter to admit that it was farm raised. At least she went and asked. Food was average, I don't really remember even what we ate now. No need to dress up. Just walk over from... More

WOW....this was a surprise. There is a nice selection of fish and meat on the menu, the prices are perfect and the service is great. The seafood was fresh and very tasty. There is not one negative thing to say. I would absolutely go back if in the area.........skip Corky Bells and DONT PASS THIS ONE UP.

This was my second time eating here. I'd like to stress first and foremost that the food is excellent and is freshly prepared, and is well-priced; however, if you sit at the bar to order, be prepared for slow service and no entertainment. And the tables are all usually full (a good sign!), so i sat at the bar on... More
