After kayaking the Rainbow River, my parents, sister and I stopped for lunch at Penn Station. Great service and amazing Cuban food! It is a strange name (probably historic) and an odd building but don't let that stop you from trying it. We ordered two dinners and the four of us shared so we could try several items. We were... Been there several times now, my honey loves their Cuban, which is excellent. The thing to do in my humble opinion is to try the daily specials. One of the best meals I've ever had, anywhere. There were things on my plate I truly don't care for (rice and beans) which I never eat, and to my amazement, they were... More

By chance we tried it out after a morning of kayaking on the Rainbow River. The Cuban sub was amazing and the owner was so gracious. I had a Cuban plate but I can't remember the name. It was wonderful. Very nice atmosphere. Wonderful desserts. Remember to have them show you the bar that came from Ybor City. Oh, and... More

This is a great little local restaurant. We eat here regularly and my whole family loves it. Delicious sandwiches, burgers and, of course, Cuban food! Definitely worth a trip!

We were heading back home after spending a few days in Cedar Key and decided to stop here for lunch based on TA reviews. So glad we did; I had the cilantro/lime grilled chicken, a nice sized pounded breast, not too thin, served with sweet plantains, black beans and rice, and a garlic knot. The chicken was perfectly cooked and... More

We took a 45 minute ride for lunch based on a recommendation for a neighbor. It was worth the trip. The Cuban and fish sandwich we're both excellent. Everything was very fresh and prepared when ordered. We'll return again to try some of the wonderful Cuban dishes. I give this Resturant a 5 star! The staff and owner was very... More

We ordered a few things here... Shrimp Scampi, Shrimp and Chorizo, Steak Salad, and a Cuban Sandwich. All were very good, a little heavy on the garlic, but the Cuban Sandwich was unforgettable! I would have never expected to find something so good in a place like Dunnellon, FL. This place is a real gem! FYI: It's BYOB

These guys make the best Cuban sandwiches. We also like the shrimp with yellow rice served with plantains. Everything is cooked fresh. There are a few tables outside which we like. In the historical section of town. We will be back.

Love this restaurant. I'm slowing working my way through their menu, anything shrimp is wonderful; the cilantro chicken dinner is superb and on a lighter side the cilantro chicken salad is great. I love their plantains and usually order items on the menu that have them in the dinner. My daughter and I stopped in one Saturday and I had... More

We stopped here after canoeing on the Rainbow River (that was great too - get the canoe through Rainbow River Canoe and Kayak, then come here to eat). Just stopped in because it was close and we were hungry. Look at all the other reviews. We agree completely. Garlic fries must be shared among friends if you want to ride... More
