My husband and I have been going to Brenda's for years. It is one of our favorite breakfast spots by the beach (in strip mall near Honeymoon Island). The staff is very friendly and the food is consistent and very good. My favorite meal is the corned beef hash with eggs and raisin toast, while my hubby's is the chocolate... More

The food was prepared quickly & was tasty. Prices were very fair considering the portion. This is a smaller restaurant and there is a nice sized parking lot for the strip mall. It is easy to miss!! It is located across the street from a large boat storage area. Definitely a return spot when In the area. This is a... More

Not much from the outside- easy to miss. But we were so glad we tried it for breakfast today. Very friendly people, seems to be a lot of regulars who eat there. Our waitress was Brenda's mother and she was attentive and helpful. She suggested some specials that we tried. Everything was cooked nicely and tasted fresh. Good coffee and... More

This is located on the Causeway Blvd in Dunedin so hey must have a lot of different customers come and go. One thing you can count on when you walk through the door is that friendly "Hello" coming from Brenda at the grill. It is a close knit staff, I have seen the same people every winter for years now.... More

I don't know what to say regarding all the other distasteful reviews that previous customers made about this place but for an inexpensive little diner that serves me one if the best chicken pitas on my Wednesdays I salute them . Brenda and her mom both do a splendid job on the food no matter who cooks and this diner... More

This is a great place to stop on your way to Honeymoon Island. Nothing fancy, good prices. The service was quick. I would definitely go back for a no-frills quick easy breakfast.

I visit Dunedin frequently and Brenda's On The Causeway is always on my list of places to hit! Great home-cooked food that I thought I could only find in the comfort of my own home! Quaint, small diner feel, friendly staff and an exceptional value!!

Was like something out of the 50's. Great breakfast, great service, great prices. So nice to find a true local diner that hasn't gone all yuppy.

We did like the pancake, but otherwise the food was ordinary. We even went back for breakfast twice, trying to give the place a chance, but they got stingy with us, wanting to charge extra for every little thing. The atmosphere is pretty awful, with tacky decor and a little dirt spread around, and I am one whol likes grungy... More

Living on Ward Island, this place is quite convenient. Step inside and go back in time. Everything on the menu is delicious, and check out Rose. She's a sweety. It's very inexpensive breakfast/lunch fare. Their biscuits & gravy are excellent...home-made. Butter is a big thing here (LOL.) Just a little place to stop when you're on your way to Honeymoon...
