Great Lunch Spot!

A ber and glass of wine + 4 deserts and 2 coffees. 120$ tip in. Overall good meal. Worth the visit. Also noticed all the other patrons around us seemed very pleased. Give... More

Our group of Tuesday night diners had tried Alfresco inn the past with varying results. Our most recent previous visit had most of us a little disappointed and a couple just OK. Yesterday there was high praise from all six of us. Dinner ranged from a straight salad of curried vegetables, the same with chicken, eggplant parmigiano, and steaks for... More

We are never disappointed when we come to Cafe Alfresco. The food is freshly made, delicious and the service is perfect. I had the seared ahi tuna salad which was quite yummy. My husband had the fish and chips which were delicious. Stop on by if you are in Dunedin.

I've been to Alfresco twice. Both times I had the NE lobster roll. I'm a transplant Yankee from Rhode Island. We invented lobster rolls: claw and tail lobster meat in very light mayo sauce with chopped celery and a little lemon juice, maybe some parsley and salt and pepper. That's basically it. Served real cold on a grilled hot dog... More

We enjoy stopping in on every visit to the area. For appetizers, for a meal, cocktails. The staff is always friendly, fast service. The food has always been delicious. This visit was a delight as well. We enjoyed some wine and sandwiches on our stop in Dunedin on the way to St. Pete. Delicious and our waitress was a delight.

Love the outdoor seating area. Right at the corner of Main Street and the Pinellas Trail, this is a terrific place to people watch. The crab cake eggs benedict are one of my weekend brunch items. Just wish they allowed substitutions.

I have been dining with Roger and his staff since it opened in the 90's. The food is excellent the prices are very reasonable. I have never had a bad meal and have never heard a negative remark made about Cafe Alfresco. You gotta go.
