This is truly my family's favorite place for dinner in Destin. Husband ordered shrimp basket and loves it - I order Grouper or Mahi parmesean and it is truly OUTSTANDING!!! more

Awful experience. My girlfriend and I live here in Destin, and thought to give it a try as it is primarily a tourist destination. Extremely disappointed. Cold french fries for our daughter (frozen in the middle), My crab legs were WAAAAAY overcooked with the seasoning caked onto the shell overpowering the taste and burning my lips and tongue, and my... more

We ate at the old location a few weeks back while in Destin. Food was pretty good but not the best we had while in Destin. Very pricey for walk up service. Wanted to eat here after hearing the hype about the place, now we have and can move on. more

Yes there are two locations. The orignial looks rough, we passed. The new location is on 98 by harbor. We ate lunch there it was very good. Very good, quality, fresh seafood at reasonable prices (<$10 for a lunch). We at on the outdoor porch overlooking the bay. Grooper fingers were great., so were fresh fried shrimp. Very good service more

Maybe its just me, but I prefer the original location over the new one on the harbor. We ate at the new location in early October. It was crowded, noisy, and one person's food didn't make it to the table until after everyone else was almost through eating. Yes, the new location is more upscale and has an expanded menu,... more

I don't think Dewey Destin is on Calhoun anymore unless there are 2 locations. We ate at Dewey Destin on Route 98. Our lunch was good, if not a bit pricey at nearly $70 for two people with an appetizer and no alcohol. The menu was somewhat limited, but maybe the lunch menu is a little different than the dinner... more

Our favorite every trip for 3 years, now have TWO great choices, both with AWESOME food. You want casual? Go for the original restaurant, right there below the bridge. NOBODY can match their sunset view. Want to watch the marina action? That's just below the newer Harborside spot, in a house that's been converted (and next door to a great... more

Seriously..yum. Everything is amazing. The smoked tuna dip is a must have. I had the boiled shrimp basket and it was the best yet. Everyone loved the food. great atmosphere on the harbor. I have also been to the original on the bay and it is good too. Won't disappoint. more

The fried shrimp were good. The seafood chowder was not too hot. SKIP the tuna dip, it was the worst i have had. Nice view and service but the food only so so. Sad to say but it seems that the food on the harbor at most places is getting worse and worse and way overpriced, more

Friends recommended DDH but skip it unless you like expensive fried food. We stopped for lunch and, with two exceptions, all lunch specials were fried food entrees. I opted for the regular menu grilled grouper sandwich, which was $3 more, and my wife ordered the crab cake sandwich. The grilled grouper was good, the crab cake was mushy, crinkle cut... more
